heres another story I also found on daily dish/sfgate.com:
MADONNA UPS SECURITY OVER STALKER FEARS
Pop queen Madonna has stepped up her personal security amid fears she may be attacked by obsessed fans.
The singer ordered security to be overhauled at her $9 million London townhouse while she spent the winter at her Los Angeles mansion.
She returned to the house in the city's posh Marylebone district last week after having doubled the number of CCTV cameras, installed a team of permanent security guards, and requested more frequent police patrols on her street.
The pop star has also bought a top-of-the-range BMW 760 with bullet-proof windows.
Madonna, who lives with her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, and their children Rocco and Lourdes, took the new measures after concerns were aired by her current security team that she might be in danger of attack.
A source close to the material girl says, "The house is no longer the secret it was a year ago. When people come to London, they want to see it.
"There are people outside at all times. In the past they have kept their distance. But they are getting braver and have started trying to shove letters through her letter box.
"Madonna now has four security guards living on the premises permanently. There are eight CCTV cameras, and a control room with screens giving 360-degree views."
Madonna is also said to be concerned about security at the couple's vast Ashcombe estate in Wiltshire.
