Tell what you think of them only based on their comedic abilities, because obviously they are not in the league of Pacino or Deniro etc as they lack the range.
Bill Murray
Bill Cosby
John Cleese
Jim Carrey
Steve Martin
Eddie Murphy
Richard Pryor
Robin Williams
Mike Myers

Bill Murray 7/10 (sometimes genius, sometimes just out of place..)
Bill Cosby 5/10 (what did he do besides 'Cosby Show'?)
John Cleese 9/10 (brilliant)
Jim Carrey 6/10 (but a fantastic impersonator!)
Steve Martin 6/10 (I only liked him as 'The Dentist' in Little Shop Of Horrors)
Eddie Murphy 6/10 (he was genius in the early 80's, now he just a shadow of what he once was..)
Richard Pryor 6/10 (never liked him, although he's supposedly this 'Big Example')
Robin Williams 7.5/10 (ok)
Mike Myers 5/10 (never liked him)

Bill Murray 8/10 - Not only a good comedian, also a very good dramatic actor, excellent especially in things like Ghostbusters, Rushmore and Scrooged. Although he has made some stinkers (*coughcharliesangelscough*), he's a fantastic actor.
Bill Cosby 6/10 - Like Dietrch said, what else has he done that's memorable other than 'Cosby Show'?
John Cleese 7/10 - I find to be absolutely hilarious, the jokes are amazing and I love that accent of his.
Jim Carrey 5/10 - He can be funny and incredibly annoying. He cracks me up a few times but now his jokes are beginning to get tiring. A good dramatic actor, though. Should stick to more dramas than comedies.
Steve Martin 8/10 - I LOVE him! Plane Trains and Automobiles, The Jerk, Father of the Bride all show how talented he is. The greatest oscar host in movie history, he also cracked me up in his new film BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE.
Eddie Murphy 4/10 (ever since the 80's he lost his touch) - He was great in the 80's but ever since The Nutty Professor he has not done a single acceptable movie, his voice is so fucking annoying it's worse than a chainsaw cutting through human flesh. Ugh!
Richard Pryor 6/10 - I dunno how to describe him, a 6 just feels right.
Robin Williams 9/10 - The best! Another man who can do no wrong. Hilarious in movies like Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Morning Vietnam. Gives continually good performances in both comedies and dramas.
Mike Myers 7/10 - One of the symbols of comedian. Genius, pure genius. Was a perfect Austin Powers and his jokes ALWAYS cracks me up. Great on SNL and Wayne's World as well. One of the better comedians these days.

Bill Murray- A man that does movies his way or no waaay. Bill doesnt front or have to put on an act when potraying a role. Mostly comedy, drama, action genres. I like to see to the bill dabble into horror. Not like his character in Ghostbusters but some turned disgruntled/being chased by a killer/turns out to be a killer type movie. WOuld be fun though but I think that would be very risky for Bill's career if the question was posed. Favorite movies strarring the bill? Rushmore, Charlies Angels,What About Bob & Caddyshack just to name few.... 8/10 :D
Bill Cosby-Well Bill Cosby has done a slew of movies from the 70's up to the early 90's. Cosby's approach on humor is VERY PG. I have NEVER seen Cosby say any F words, S words but I could be wrong on that. I still like the then Cosby cause now hes kinda ugh!......But his best work was when he had his TV show on NBC on thursday nights...Ahhh the memories.... 8/10 :D
John Cleese- If John has the right material (A Fish Called Wanda,Harry Potter,Rat Race)when delivering his comedic best I laugh myself onto the floor. No complaints with John, just the only project I wasnt to crazy about was Fierce Creatures. I just didnt get it... 8/10
Jim Carrey-Jim's comedy style is unique w/ the eyes rolling body gesturing that he has done in all his movies. Well you gotta work w/ what ur best w/. I like all his movies, I tried getting into The Majestic but I still prefer him in comedy type roles. So forward into seeing seeing Bruce Almighty! yay! :D 8/10
Steve Martin- Steve made a huge comeback w/ Bringing Down The House. He still has that comedy slapschtick he has displayed in movies like L.A. Story, Roxanne & The Jerk. 8/10
Eddie Murphy- Well Eddie is in slump mode w/ his movies. I spy wasnt all that baaad...:D But its just that his movies are not equaling out to the cost per film. I havent seen Pluto Nash yet, and current Daddy Day Care well thats up in the air but I always identify Eddie when he was raking in the dough in the 80's. 7/10
Richard Pryor-An actor who paved the way for many black comedy actors. I love his movies from the 70's,80's. But w/ his condition which he cant help with the magic of Richard Pryor has sadly dimmed. Best Richard Pryor flicks, Stir Crazy, Silver Streak, Which Way Is Up, Bustin Loose & more.... 8/10
Robin Williams- I loove this man! I got to meet him in person! Very nice! But like I have mentioned, NEVER GOT THE MANS AUTOGRAPH! Grrrrrrr....Robin known his one liners in comedy has done it all! He broke the mole with Insomnia & the chilling One Hour Photo... I have enjoyed 80% of Mr Williams films......8/10
Mike Myers- I love the Mike man! Waynes World 1, 2 sucked!, Austin Powers, And I Married An Axe Murderer...Great guy!
8/10

Bill Murray
Bill Cosby
John Cleese
Jim Carrey
Steve Martin
Eddie Murphy
Richard Pryor
Robin Williams
Mike Myers
Steve Martin is the absolute funniest comedian! Too bad his film comedies have just about all bombed. I loved him in Parenthood and on Saturday Night Live.
Jim Carrey and Robin Williams - I am not crazy about their comedy skits but I think they are great actors. Loved CArrey in the Mask and Truman Show. Williams' comedy is too nutty for me- he's a great actor.
Murphy is a very talented comedian bjut he does not know how to pick good roles, IMO. Was great in Beverly Hills Cop- very funny.
The rest are OK.Except I think Cleese was outstnding in a Fish Called Wanda. That was him, right? :)

Steve Martin - 8/10, great stand up, some good movies (the jerk), great Oscars host, King Tut
Eddie Murphy 8/10 - While he has really gone downhill in my opinion, I can't deny that growing up, I thought he was the funniest man alive. Great Standup, solid movies (earlier in his carreer - 48 hours, Beverly hills cop, Trading places, even coming to america)
Richard Pryor - 8/10 he blazed the trail for a lot of comedians. Solid standup, Stir crazy
