I've just finished watching this film (last time I saw it it was in the early 90's) and still think that it's a real piece of art. The direction is awesome, the acting is great, so is the music and even the story is more than a Jaws in the desert with a giant pork replacing the shark. I must admit that this film is wonderful. To bad Mulcahy didn't manage to make other movies of that kind (exception for Highlander of course). What are your thoughts ?

Is this the movie with the killer pig that destroyed an entire house, and was directed by the guy who did Duran Duran's videos?

From Australia there is also Next Of Kin ( aka Return To Monclare ) which is really a dark and creepy movie, very atmopsheric.
A must - see film.
I don't know Razerbak but I know it is not just about a monster.

Next Of Kin rules and so does Razorback. I think Warners still holds the rights to Razorback. Hopefully we'll see a DVD release in the near future.

I think this is an underrated film. It has some pretty engaging characters, a desolate atmosphere, and the Big Pig is awesome! Bacon anyone?

Fantastic flick..

The scenery/photography looks more like an issue of National Geographic then anything..

Razorback is actually one of my favorite animal horror movies-There are more rat, shark, and snake movies than I can count, several bat and dog movies, and a few gator and lizard movies. Only one hog movie. My only complaint is that they went too far from Peter Brennan's book-However, I learned about the book by watching the movie, so I wasn't disappointed.

Decent movie, it just was wierd to see "Gonzo" in a horror film especially against a giant pig. Bonus points for those who get the Gonzo reference :)

This used to be a movie I'd rent again and again in the mid- to late-80s. It's out of print, so I haven't seen it for nearly a decade or so. I hope it turns up on DVD soon.

This sounds intruiging, I like killer animal flicks. Too bad I didn't pick it up when I saw it for 5 bucks a while ago.
