A little bump for this. Just wanted to let you guys in on a little schmoe convention that might be happening at the Surf Ballroom later this winter. Indiana Sev may be traveling down from Canada for the Winter Dance Party Weekend the first weekend in February commemorating "The Day The Music Died". And I'll be traveling from... well ten miles down the road.:D We've tentatively got two, let's get this thing to grow, any big fans of the genre, this is something historical you wont want to miss.
Here is a website with interesting info about the Surf Ballroom and the tradgedy in February of 1959. Check it out if you are bored. Thank you for your time.
