At first I didn't care much for this movie, but after seeing the trailer in front of X-Men 2, I really want to see 28 Days Later. The music at the end of the trailer sent chills down my spine, and the plot looks very interesting. What are your thoughts on this movie so far?

I got a review of it up in the Horror Reviews forum. My opinion is that 28 Days Later had a great first half and a so-so second half. See it for the opening twenty minutes alone.

The teaser was certainly intriguing. But the trailer didn't do anything for me. It doesn't look that good. Which is a shame because the premise is certainly intriguing.

28 Later is an awesome movie.
I saw it quite a few months ago when it came out in the cinemas here. Me and my mates went to see it and it doesn't half scare the shit out of you in some places.
But watching that film and just seeing London absolutely dead like that, with shops looted, cars left in the middle of the road...everyone gone...it's just awesome.
Argh, i just think about that scene and i can't help but think about what comes next. I think if you guys like zombie movies you're gonna love this one. These zombies are shit scary. They don't just walk about gormlessly looking for brains, they fucking run after you and quickly as well...scary stuff!

I am looking forward to thismovie so much. I'm a huge resident Evil fan for one, and while I liked Resident Evil the movie, This looks like it'll be much more like the Videogames. The idea of a City overrun with the undead has a ways to go before it becomes a tired theme.
Zombies are one of the few horror movie concepts that still scare me.
But most importantly I think Danny Boyle is a fucking genious! Any movies of his I've seen I loved.
I saw the trailer in X-2 and I can honestly say I envy anyone who's gotten to see this movie already. It's good to hear that it's an awesome movie from someone who's already seen it.

This isn't really a "zombie" movie, it's more like The Stand because the infected people aren't like brainless zombies just wanting brains.. They have like this Rage dicease that makes them rip people apart with there bare hands and shit... But I may be wrong because this is just what I read.

I did my commentary last month on the upcoming summer schedule and I had a question about this movie...
If the SARS epidemic continues to elude the CDC and everyone else, will the release be delayed?
Right now the SARS thing is looking like it will die down soon, but I can't help having Phone Booth deja vous.
That would be a pain in the ass.

Only if SARS victims go mad and start hunting down the healthy and tearing them apart.:D
I'm going to hell for that one aren't I?...

I'll probably see it...
I couldn't really get past the "grainy" look of it though...

I saw 28 days later at the tribeca film festival last weeek and i must say it kicked my ass- very tense throughout, but theres one moment towards the beginning, youll know what it is when you see it, when the whole theater collectively shit their pants. also, the grainy look bothered me in the trailer but the movie doesnt really look like that at all- you can tell its shot on video but it doesnt look particularly grainy

Caught the trailer for this last night before Wrong Turn and I think it looks awesome. I loved how the trailer was like: Day 1... Day 2....., 28 Days Later. I loved The Stand, and this movie looks to like a newer version of that almost. Once it finally comes out (when does it come out?), I will be there see it.

I don’t know, I have also heard that it is not really a zombie movie but after watching the first six minutes I am beginning to think that it is in fact about zombies (just not the Romero kind). If anyone is interested you can watch the first 6 minutes HERE (http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/28_days_later/large_clip.html)

Yet to see it myself, some mates of mine say it's brilliant but it doesn't look so great to me. Plus some reviews I've read have been quite negative towards it which didn't help, I'll probably check it out on DVD over the next few weeks though, just for the sake of it.

I saw the movie just a few days ago and have to say that it was descent. The grainy look helped with the eerie feeling of being hunted down. The movie was interesting all the way through.
The story was put together very well and the cast was so-so.
The infected were very, very cool though.
If anything see this movie for the special effects and the very good job they did with making london look like it was totally wiped out.

Shit dood... now I REALLY wanna get SARS. If those were the symptoms... DAMN!! I'd be walking around with a shotgun and a video camera filming a REALLY cheap Zombie movie!!
"Hey, you pulled out in front of me in your car the other day asshole!!" BLAM!!! http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/contrib/blackeye/2gunsfiring_v1.gifhttp://mindscraps.com/s/ups/chaos99/greenchainsaw.gif
And for the record, yea, I totally loved the movie. Can't wait to get the DVD, as opposed to the shitty Pan and Scan VCD I have now.

Everyone going to the sneak preview on the website it says "wear a red shirt. See what happens." So some schmoe should wear a red shirt and maybe you'll get a prize or something.

I'll have to catch this on DVD/video when it comes out. It didn't really catch my attention until a short while ago, when I actually found out what the hell it was about.
I'll check it out as soon as it opens wide in the US. Very effective trailers, IMO.
