Nothing but a hatefest.

I'm down with Ed Norton event hough I almost disowned cinama altogether after watching KEEP THE FAITH or KEEPING THE FAITH or whatever it was called. His face when he turns around and gets on his knees in AMERICAN HISTORY X was just a whole other level of acting.

Oh, c'mon, I loved KEEPING THE FAITH. Thought it was funny as hell. A tad long, but funny -- and touching. And a sweet soundtrack, too. :)

As for Ed...I dunno him personally (no shit, Logan, no shit), but he's pretty darn talented. And Salma Hayek looks like a smart woman who could've chosen any man in the world -- and she picked him, and they don't seem to be having marital problems, so I take it he's an ok guy.

Wait a second. Why do people keep mentioning Norton and Hayek as a married couple? I thought I might've missed an announcement or something but then I checked and there is no mention of them ever tying the knot. Are you guys mistaken or were you invited to the wedding and didn't tell us?

I only ask cause I hate feeling like I'm going nuts.;)

I still like the guy. Only one small thing is bothering me: The Italian Job, Ed? C'mon.

I make no secret of the fact that the boy is my favourite contemporary actor. Actually, he's pretty well admired on these boards (as was witnessed in the thread 'I Hate Edward Norton' a few months back. ) Those who remember it will recall the poster being banned within something like two hours of registering (yay, Jo) and my own response came close to busting a few of the rules. Long story short, the only actor I will watch in anything (for Cusack, see America's Sweetheats: to date the only film in his bio I will not watch) and my second fav actor of all-time.

Sounds like people got issues.

Sour grapes, maybe?

I have to agree with you there. I have nothing but respect towards Ed Norton (25th hour certainly helped), but the Italian Job? no thank you....

Just two notes: Norton didn't want to do Italian Job, but his multiple movie contract with studio forced him to. Secondly, I'm quite 99% positive that Salma Hayek *doesn't* have implants.

He was thinking the same thing. Blame Paramount for responding with legal pressure for him to appear

Ed Norton = Good no great actor.

I think these people have only seen him in a few movies like Death To Smoochy or something and haven't seen him in anything else.

I left 1% because you can never know for sure. But I've been following Salma's career a lot since Desperado and I think I would know if she had implants. Everyone, including her biggest fans who know way more about her than I do, think she is natural. So I go with that.

Of course, there is always the 1%...

Fametracker? That's the site where everyone talks about celebs they claim to hate yet can't stop obsessing on them.

i think ed norton is very talented. no matter what movie he is in, he always does his role well (even if the movie sucks).....as for his personality, i think he does seem a little conceited and arrogant, but i don't really care if he is. if he doesn't do anything to me personally, then why should i care? he's a good actor and i will continue to watch him!
