DVD sites around the net have said that MGM and Universal have edited the part where Hannibal Lecter peels the sheet over the brain off. This sucks because that is the scariest and grossest part. Is this true?

I heard that was only for Region 4, and they denied it. In fact, they said there's a featurette on the disc which shows audience reactions in screenings or something, and they show that scene recorded from the theater screen, and it's exactly the same.

I bought the Hannibal DVD yesterday and that part wasn't deleted. I have the Region 1, I'm not sure about the other regions though.
