MADONNA SHOCKED BY STALKER
Queen of pop Madonna was left shaken yesterday after coming face-to-face with a known stalker on the set of British music show "Top of the Pops."
The superstar singer was performing her single "American Life" when she spotted the man in the crowd at the BBC television studios in London. Her security staff liaised with the minders at the BBC and together they ejected the man from the show.
One onlooker says, "It was incredible. It all happened so quickly."
A spokesperson at the BBC was quick to play down the incident.
He says, "At no time was Madonna in any danger. The stalker tried to get into the STAR BAR, where you can have a drink, but he was recognized.
"He was escorted off the premises. The police were not involved."
