(If it works for him then so be it...;) heres the scoop from dailydish/sfgate.com)
METALLICA ROCKER WEARS WOMEN'S CLOTHES
Metallica rocker James Hetfield is upset with the current trend for loose- fitting jeans -- because it's forced him to start donning women's clothes.
Hetfield admits that while the women's jeans easily qualify as the most embarrassing attire in his wardrobe, he's been left with no other alternative.
He explains, "They don't make men's stretch jeans anymore. Nowadays it's all about homie, baggy stuff, so I have to go to a size-14 women's extra-long."

I can see where hes coming from with that. i always dress for my comfort and if i needed to, id wear womans jeans, with no qualms.
hey, if it keeps him dressed in comfort, then go James!

What's wrong with that? I have a pair of women's pants myself. They actually fit pretty well, and there's really no way you could tell unless I told you. They fit just as well or better than men's pants and look good. Nothing wrong with it as far as I can see.

what's the big deal? i don't get it...it's not like they're covered in pink flowers and stuff...they're just jeans....
Wow, and I thought Mettallica was supposed to be the anti-Motley Krue. For the record I think it's wrong for any straight man to wear women's clothing.

Good thing nobody's looking to you for fashion advice.

I can't speak on Greb's behalf, but he might be referring to your silly generalization. Wearing women's jeans is hardly the same thing as prancing about in a ball gown. And even if James did prance about in a ball gown, what would it matter to any of us?

As greb is not here, i will point out that he was indeed referring to the silly generalisation.
as i would have done, had i been here.
