It is very good. I watched the DVD about one month ago, and i been thinking about buying it. There are a lot of deleted scenes on the DVD which is very good.

I bought it a couple of hours ago and it is great. The transfer and sound are top-notch. Ridley Scott is a very cool guy and his commentary was a great listen. The extras are great. The alternate ending was better than the theatrical one. The "Breaking The Silence" featurette was great. A must buy. I can not wait for Dr. Drew's review soon.

I'm watching Fear right now and haven't seen the special features yet but I will tell you what I thought about them after I see 'em http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif...

I liked everything about the 2-Disc Hannibal DVD. Hannibal's deleted scenes are the best deleted scenes I've seen on any DVD. The alternate ending ok. But everyone should listen to Ridley Scott's commentary on why he deleted it and you will agree with why he deleted. His commentaries are always good.

So far, any Ridley Scott movie on DVD is very good. There are always packed with extras, especially deleted scenes. Hannibal has about 35 minutes of deleted scenes, while the alternate ending is another 6 minutes. Alien had over 20 minutes and Gladiator had a lot as well. I recommend getting Hannibal on DVD.

What is the alternate ending and why did Ridley Scott use the one he did instead of the other one?
