"My Little Eye" is finally 'that' movie that has "Blair Witch Project" (yawn!) for inspiration, (like so many ho-hum BWP rip-offs) but is a genuinely effective and freaky movie that doesn't play favorites. I won't give anything away, I'll just say that this story about a group of people who sign up for the internet version of "Big Brother" with a $1,000,000 prize at stake, is anything but conventional. It has numerous twists, some dark surprises, and most folks will not be emotionally prepared for the very unsettling and disturbing final act. "My Little Eye" doesn't disappoint. It's a horror 'revelation' and I urge every 'horror' buff to see this particular horror movie any way they can.

The fact that its cashing in on the mock doc trend AND the "reality tv" thing should be turning off a LOT more people than I'd have expected.

eeeeee, it must be good...

'Twas actually VERY decent IMO.

Freaked me out a wee bit as it happens.

:)

Apparantly the DVD is jam-packed full of cool shite also.

I was curious about this film, but I was put off going to see it at the cinema by the shite advertising on TV - I fucking hate it when they have interviews with enthusiastic twats (who have supposedly just seen it), jabbering on about how scared they were and how this was the best film ever....blah...blah...

I'll just wait until it appears on Sky I think.

I couldn't quite believe it when i was watching this movie. I caouldn't contain myself during the whole production.
Horror movies have never been my favourite genre...in fact i don't think i like one horror film out there...but this...this just proved to be one of the most godawful of them out there. This didn't even get a chance to bore me i was too busy criticising the bastard!
It was a godawful piece of film making tryng to play on a stupid fad, that has the brain wahsed public engulfed in.
I despise things like this, there was hardly any innovation, the script to any standards was pretty poor and not only that, but the plot and the "oh so amazing twist" was such a petty attempt to try and instigate, to try and provoke some kind of emotion that it just had no-one impressed.
All in all, i can't say i liked the film very much at all.

Well you said it yourself you don't like horror films. So first up you decide to watch this Horror film and then find yourself surprised that you didn't like it. HMMMMM. It never stood a chance.

Well i like the odd horror film, texas chainsaw, nightmare on elm street( original only) Evil dead, and i thought this was good too. Okay don't you think that the whole point in basing the film on reality t.v is to up the scares as it seems more realistic and adds a bit of fresh air to the usual horror fare that has been pumped out of late? Filmakers will exploite a gap if they see one and It was only a matter of time someone would do a 'big brother' horror and personally i thought it was well made and had some good jumpy moments.
