X-Men 2. I had a lot less quibbles with X-Men 2 than Matrix Reloaded. If MR hadn't had so many philisophical conversations about nothing, then I might enjoy it more. But X-Men 2 put a huge ass smile on my face

I've seen X2 twice, Matrix 2 once. In fact, I had to sneak into Matrix 2, so I bought a ticket to X2 and snuck in. Afterwards, I wished I'd just seen X2 a third time.:(

While Bryan Singer's "X2" was more fun, The Wachowski Brothers' "The Matrix Reloaded" is the better film. "The Matrix Reloaded" is a great piece of entertainment, a great science-fiction film, and a great film in general.

The Matrix Reloaded was a pretty good movie, but IMO it was boring. Whereas X2 was very exciting and action-packed and not so slow. X2 also has better actors - Jackman, Stewart, McKellen, Janssen, Cumming, Cox. The only really good performance in MR was by Hugo Weaving. Wolverine is so much cooler than Neo too.

I very much enjoyed Matrix Reloaded (8/10), it was a hell of a ride. But I absolutely loved X-Men 2 (10/10), it was amazing as both a sequel and comic adaptation.

I'm late in this vote: I only just saw Reloaded last night.

X2 (10/10) by a mile; it had talky character moments without ever losing the momentum or overcooking the script.

I just saw Matrix last night, and I can't seem to count my quibbles with it...too many things I didn't like about it.

On the other hand ....

X2 is one of the best sequels I've seen, one of the few that actually passes up the original; seen it twice and still love it. (8/10)
