Still, if I were, the list would include:
-The Matrix
-Armageddon: Criterion Collection
-3000 Miles to Graceland
-What Lies Beneath
-Boogie Nights: New Line Platinum Series

This is easy....none! If I don't like the fuckin' movie...I ain't gonna spend $20 to use the shit as a coaster...

Flickjunkie, i think we have to take in mind that NONE of us (i hope) would go out and bye any of these dvds mentioned just to use them as a coaster.
They are simply used as a symbol to show how much we hate these certain movies and their presence on dvds.
We don't want people coming in saying
"i know i'll be clever "i wouldn't buy any dvds as coasters, that's stupid.""
None of us would do that ok?
We just want people to state which movies they really hate.
We didn't think there were actually some poeple on this site that are soooo simple that they couldn't understand this!!!
If it's easier for you lets say hypothetically speaking...coasters are now $60(£40), cds are all three times the price they usually are, and dvds are the ones that have gone down half price. And you have to use coasters as part of the law, its like rape if you don't use one. Now we're gonna say out of respect your not gonna buy a dvd that you like and use it as a coaster...so which DVD would you buy as a coaster????!!!!

i don't think i can make it much more simple for some of you people.
Either that or i've just made things soooo much mre complicated because i encorporated the word "hypothetically", and this word doesn't actually exist in your vocabulary!

Wise up and just play along, ok?!

Im in Canada too, and the only DVD I ever bought for 30 bucks was Lilo & Stitch. All the DVD's are in the 19.99-28.99 for me in Ontario, but the exception of like more then one disc new editions, and box sets (tv shows, movies). Ive seen The Simpsons in the 40's but thats about right. But TCM that's pretty steep:eek:

In an effort to make this thread differemt from all the "worst movie ever" threads I'm gonna suggest the film The Brain That Wouldn't Die. It's available at store nearby (without MST3K commentary), it's totally devoid of extras (not to mention it dosen't look like there's much money put into production of the DVD) and best of all, it's only 5 bucks!

Gone in 60sec
03-20-2004, 02:59 PM
And im proud to say I like:
<------ Gone In 60sec
Armageddon
Daredevil

I would use Cat In The Hat as a coaster and then use the inside sleave as toilet paper.

3 Reasons Why I Wouldn't Buy Dvd's As Coasters:

A. You would get them cup-o-tea rings round them

B. It's cheaper to buy coasters

C. It's just not fonzy. Dvd's as coasters? Why not just use a block of gold as a foot-rest or like your sinks as a bath.

I'm going to continue on like I didn't just read that.

To update my list of shitty movies I'd use as a coaster let us put down House of the Dead. That movie took away time from my life that I want back!

I wouldn't waste that much money on a coasters, but if I did, I'd buy the Lord or the Rings movies. I think I'm the only one who thinks they're pure crap.
