Was watching Rebel Without A Cause last night in TCM here in the UK and the fucking film still had ad breaks in...why cant it been like Sky Premier and play the movie un-interrupted...fucks.
This is nearly as bad as ad breaks in F1 on ITV!

Yeah, TCM. That was the one I was going to mention.
Worse part is they edit them for TV
Same with Bravo, which is a wonderful channel, but for some reason, Richard Linklater's Slacker loses a lot of feel with breaks in the dialogue. Sort of ruins the concept of that movie, if you ask me.

What the hell are you talking about? Here in Spain EVERY channel programms ads during the movies, except some payed ones, like... TCM!! I use to see most of the movies in those un-aded channels, but unfortunately their range of movies is very short :(

I was watching Meet The Feebles(7/10) on ShowCase awhile ago, and in the middle there was a brief intermission. I really didn't mind that much at all. I can't stand watching movies on TV, it's edited and has crapo commercials.

TCM? As in Turner Classic Movies? I don't know about y'alls, but in my neck of the woods TCM never has commercials during its movies. AMC, sure, but not TCM.
And as far as I can recall, TCM rarely shows movies with "objectionable" content in them, so they're not edited, either.

Well here in the UK they have ad breaks on TCM but we get Osbournes with the swearing in...good deal dont you think?

I'm with FeverDog. I've never seen commercial breaks during movies for TCM, but on AMC, there are ads every five minutes; I taped SON OF FRANKENSTEIN off there last fall, and what should have been less than 90 minutes ended up being over two hours worth of tape. Damn you, AMC...
Yeah, AMC's on my hit list. I want TCM so bad it's ridiculous.

Yes I do agree that adverts are annoying on TCM and on other channels like ITV and Channel 4 etc.
I wanted to watch Rebel Without A Cause but I forgot about it and missed it. Damn!

AMC blows hard, especially since they are now showing commercial breaks.
TCM, on the other hand rocks. No commercials from what I got, no editing, and LETTERBOX! Wheeee!
This is why there are only 3 channels I watch frequently: Sundance, IFC, and TCM.
