Evil Dead was serious horror.

Evil Dead 2 had horror, comedy, and action, it IS the perfect combo, so it is my favorite one

The orginal is the greatest. It balanced itself nicely between scary, comedic, gory, and dramatic.

Let's see someone make a film today with the gore and horror that Evil Dead so wonderfully displayed, it just will NEVER happen!

Evil Dead II:Dead By Dawn because it had the best mix of the three films it had it all horror,comedy,and action and it did it it such a great level where as Evil Dead was pure horror and army of Darkness was more of action comedy.

I wasn't very impressed with the original Evil Dead. Thought it was kinda bland and well, just not up to what I thought it would be. But it's sequels were FAR superior to the original. So, anyway, I went with the very, very "groovy" Army of Darkness.
