Yes...I do love this flick.
It's brilliant...intelligent...sardonic...ironic...perf ectly paced.
The acting is superb, the direction is flawless, the cinematography is surreal, the writing is whip-smart.
This is a flick unlike anything else I've ever seen.
And...oh yeah, Thora Birch kicks ass as Enid.
This is her movie...she is in virtually EVERY scene, and she carries the whole production on her lovely shoulders...the girl just flat-out fuckin' rocks.
Look for Thora and Buscemi to get some serious consideration come "award season".
Wider release is scheduled for late August/early September...I hope you all get a chance to see it, it will definitely leave a lasting impression on you.
