I just bought it/watched it. It kicks some serious ass!! The uncut movie alone is amazing, but the 35 min extra bit makes me even happier I bought it. Thank you Anchor Bay!
Anyone else seen it?

No I haven't seen it but am planning to buy it. The extended version is more exspinsive than the other. Is the extended version better and worth the money?

The extended version is how they originally intended the movie to be, the theatrical version is messed up. Course the extended is worth it.

The setup on the SE is a bit odd. They spent a lot of time remastering the theatrical release which is the shorter version. They didn't spend as much work on the extended version which I find strange because the extended is CLEARLY the better version. I'd say if you can afford the SE, go for it, I got mine for $47 at HMV (reduced price....not sure why) and I noticed the non SE version was $27. The SE is a really great addition to any DVD collection, but if you can only afford the regular version it's still good. The only major difference I can see are the 35 min special interviews etc and then extra scenes that help explain the story a bit more. I find any movie made in the early 70s tend to ...um....ramble on a little bit....however, the 35 min interview thing will make you even happier that you spent the extra $$ for the SE.
