2. Favourite irish director?

MY CHOICES

1. (i)Liam Neeson- the mans a legend-shoulda won an oscar for Schindler and Michael Coliins
(ii) Gabriel Byrne.
(iii)Colin Farrell
(iv) Pierce Brosnan

2. Actually can only think of one irish director-
Neill Jordan- Crying game, michael collins, good thief.....

3. Favourite irish based film

1. Michael Collins- an absolute classic-great acting, great visuals, the truthful story at last.

2. The Commitments- a brilliant film. Shame the stars didn't go on to bigger things.

I agree with Liam Neeson, but I also like Aidan Quinn (he's Irish, right?). Neil Jordan is a great director and so is Jim Sheridan. My favourite movie would have to be In The Name Of The Father. I absolutely love The Commitments. It's a classic.

My favourite Irish actor would be Gabriel Byrne closely followed at the minute by Mr Farrell. He was awesome in Tigerland.

Best Irish movie? Probably The Commitments.

Best director? Neil Jordan of course

Byrne and PETER O'TOOLE (look it up.)

Neil Jordan is one of the most underrated guys working today. Love 'im.
