I can't believe Dimension Pictures would do this! They moved "Jay and Silent Bob" to August 24th 2001 from August 22nd 2001. It is already sad that crap like "Summer Catch" and "Bubble Boy" will probably gross more opening weekend but now they have hurt Kevin Smith's film even more by taking away 2 days of grosses before the teen crap hits theatres. All fans must support this film anyway we can. I hope it reaches 80 million but it seems highly unlikely. Damn Dimension.

Actually Alf-life, this is Jay and Silent Bob's fifth movie. Check out Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Dogma.
And what the hell is up with this release date crap again? Can't they ever make up their minds? Yeeesh.

Doesn't matter much to me, I couldn't see it until the 24th anyways, because I start school on the 22nd.

I don't think "Summer Catch" and "Bubble Way" will do too well either.
There is no doubt in my mind that "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" will be the best among the 5 opening that weekend, and I do not want to see Ghosts of Mars and Curse of Jade Scorpion either. I have a feeling that they might move the opening day of at least 1 of the movies opening that weekend again.
Jay and Silent Bob ROCKS! /ubb/biggrin.gif
