"The Curse Of The Jade Scorpion" opening

How much do you guys think this film will launch with? I am going to guess 18 million because the trailer was the funniest one I've see in years and Woody Allen is really popular. And all the stars have been in critical favorites recently Helen Hunt was in "Cast Away", Charlize Theron was in "The Cider House Rules", and Dan Aykroyd was in "The House of Mirth". All of them also brought solid grosses. And after the really funny "Small Time Crooks" he has gotten a more wide audience. What do you guys think?

Saw a sneak preview last night. It is funny. Its a stretch to see him opposite Helen Hunt and Charlize Theron, but it works. Surely soon there will be a Woody Allen festival...but I can't imagine what it would be like to see 10 of his movies in one stretch.

I love ol woody, but i dont think this film stands a chance of opening that well. If i had to guess, id say 10 million tops, America just isnt the market place for a GOOD movie to open. I think it will get great word of mouth, and end up with about 30-40 million. But I cant see an 18 million dollar opening in this movies future.
