Jesus L. Christ, this guy isn't worth a dime, much less billions of dimes. Those earnings are dizzying, and I'm thinking Warner was more than a little stupid to give him a huge 15% back end...

From the IMDb (http://www.imdb.com) :

Keanu Cashes In
His role as Neo in the two Matrix sequels will make Keanu Reeves the highest paid actor in Hollywood as he commands a staggering $206 million for the movies. Keanu's deal includes a 15 percentage of the box office takings for Reloaded and Revolutions which will ensure he does very well out of the agreement. Film expert Michael Fleming comments, "Estimates are that Reeves will make anywhere from $148 million to near $330 million." Talking about the actor's box office deal, Fleming adds, "When this is added to revenues from the video game, DVD and TV sales, his earning potential is dizzying."

Would he please buy an acting lesson or two? He can afford it.

Whoever decided to give him that much money should slap themselves in the face. There are far more deserving actors than Keanu Reeves for that amount of money.

My thoughts exactly. Not that I think an actor deserves to make millions from acting in the first place, but eh, I don't make the rules. If you're gonna pay someone $330 million, at least make it Pacino.

Well, I'll be frank...Keanu is my hero at the mo' if rumour is to be believed...

From CHANNEL4.COM... (http://www.channel4.com/apps26/news/news_story.jsp?storyId=243044)

Matrix star Keanu Reeves is giving away an expected £50 million in profits to the crew who worked on the two sequels Reloaded and Revolutions.

The 38-year-old star has signed over the money to the film's special effects and costume-design teams. The windfall could net each of them almost £1.6 million.

Keanu said: "Money is the last thing I think about. I could live for the next few centuries on what I have already made."

He is expected to make either £20 million or 15 per cent of the gross from the two films, whichever is greater.

Keanu is well-known for his generosity. Whilst making the films he gave each of the 12 stuntmen involved a Harley-Davidson motorbike worth nearly £7000.

The star has never married, lives in hotels and the only person he supports is his younger sister Kim, who has been struggling with leukaemia for the past decade.

Keanu is reported to have spent a fortune searching for a cure. A friend said: "He would give away every last penny he has to help Kim."

From HELLO Magazine... (http://www.hellomagazine.com/2003/05/28/keanureeves/)

Man of the moment Keanu Reeves has shown his generosity by giving away £50 million of his earnings from the Matrix sequels. The 38-year-old decided to hand over the money to the unsung heroes of the sci-fi blockbusters - the costume and special effects teams.

Keanu is expected to make a total of £70 million from the films, thanks to a deal which guarantees him a 15 per cent profit-share, so he will still net around £20 million. Asked about his prodigious act of generosity, the actor said he already had enough cash. "Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries," he declared.

And it's not the first time the Beirut-born star has shown his jaw-dropping benevolence. While shooting the films in Australia he amazed the team of stuntmen by giving them each a £6,000 Harley Davidson motorcycle. And the actor, whose sister has leukaemia, has also channelled millions into cancer research.

His gift to the Matrix series' 29 behind-the-scenes whiz-kids will see each of them receiving £1.75 million.

From ANANOVA.COM... (http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story/sm_785374.html)

The actor will donate most of his pay to effects and costume designers who worked on the movies.

He has negotiated a contract which gives him 15% of box office takings for The Matrix Reloaded and its follow-up The Matrix Revolutions.

The two films are expected to pull in about £450 million worldwide - netting Reeves nearly £70 million.

He said: "Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I've already made for the next few centuries."

Yup, Keanu is an extremely giving man...and a righteous dude!!!

Aww I always thought he seemed like a good lad; that's a very nice gesture :)

But that much for one actor? It's crazy money

Guy's not the most talented bloke in the world, but he seems nice, but...over 200 or 300 million? C'mon, that's pushing it...

Not the best actor, but the way he spends his cash is generous, so more power to him.

Well, he is a nice guy (seemingly) but I stand by my thought that no one in the world deserves that much money, let alone a bad actor like Keanu Reeves.

That is a little too much, but I still respect him for giving $40mil to the creatorsof the film.
