I've noticed that there are two different Family Guy DVD's for sale on ebay-The two volume set that was reviewed on this site and a four volume set that includes all 50 episodes plus unaired stuff. Is the 50 episode set bootleg or foreign? Does anybody own this set?

You might also try the currently open Family Guy thread (http://www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53460), but since this is DVD related, I'm moving it to the DVD forum.

Its a bootlegged. So the quality will NOT be dvd quality. Just tv-rip quality. But its up to you. I dont mind waiting for the next box set.

It's probably a boot leg. What I'd recommend doing is getting the current set, and the next set coming in September since it'll have all the things, like commentary and such that you can't always get with a bootleg

Ya, anything you find on EBAY that has all the episodes (all 50 + the infamous cut episode) is a bootleg, VCD, people have been selling these for a while. Im buying the DVD sets, they are much more worht it.

Yeah, definitely a bootleg. My housemate has this. Shoddy coverart and the quality... ouch... the compression caused a huge quality loss on the VCDs. The next set (with seaons 3 and 4) will contain the lost episode (which isn't anything that questionable... it wasn't aired because Fox has gone from being the network with balls to be a bunch of pansy douches).
