Well lards are friends at tvshowsondvd.com have landed some interesting news. While where in the process of waiting for the next upcoming season, Fox is sending in the big guns! They will be releasing a Halloween treat. This disk is set to release on September 2nd and consistsof various Simpsons Halloween Specials.

the Lister Price is 14.98Us and 16.68 Canadian

Sounds interesting. I love The Simpsons treehouse of horror episodes so I may check this out.

We've had these utterly pointless DVDs in the UK for a while now - I think we're up to four. I wish they'd just get the season sets out, and not waste time with this crap.

No extra features worth speaking of, along with the fact that we'll have these episodes on DVD eventually (with a newly re-mastered transfer, which I believe these cash-ins don't have) make these discs of little interest to me.

The season DVDs are tad expensive, Ill probably pick this up though. Ive bought the Married With Children Best Of's cause they are cheap... still wish they would release the full seasons though.

No way will I pick this up. It's a stupid thing to do, IMO. Why not concentrate efforts on getting the season sets out faster?

Stop ripping us off, Fox. We are already waiting a ridiculous amount of time for Season 3 and the others to come out.
