Black Knight - (6/10)

Genre: Fantasy/Comedy
Comments: Ok. Ok. So I decided to watch Black Knight between Pi and Straw Dogs. Ya the cover make it look like shit. The name make it look like shit. The trailer... ya, you know the drill. Im not even really a fan of Martin Lawrence. I did slightly enjoy Blue Streak and I never really got into his show. That being said, this movie isnt even as funny as Blue Streak! So did I hate it? No! I actually enjoyed this flick. Everything going against it and I was still able to enjoy the midevil fantasy story that it presented. I enjoy movies of this nature. Midevil fantasy flicks where people that dont belong are sent back in time like Army of Darkness. Of course Sam Raimi's classic is loads more fun but this movie was entertaining to say the least. Basically, Martins character works at a Amusement Park. He falls into a lake and gets sent back in time to 1300's England where he has to lie to people in order to get around. There are also a few hot ladies in this movie and suprisingly some gore! The laughs are really never there, but I enjoyed this movie on other levels. The settings were really well made and the soundtrack was pretty good. I enjoyed all the cinematic aspects of this film! The acting and the story werent as bad as you would think! The DVD is also packed and after watching the making of, I have a little more repsect for the work that went into this movie. Also the flick actually poses a moral at the end that ties the story together. You can shoot me now, but I somehow enjoyed it. Now onto Straw Dogs :)
Acting - 7/10 (Suprisingly good! Even Martin was able to stay solid.)
Violence/Gore - 4/10 (Heads getting chopped off and people getting shot with arrows)
T/A - 4/10 (The honies are pretty hot in this one. However none of them get completey naked, we get some sex scenes and some cleavage)
