Good:Tyrese is funny, kool car scene in the beginning, a couple of slick shots (although the same camera tricks are re-used over and over) hot chicks, Cole Hauser simply rocks as the bad guy! He makes the boring "on paper" role a blast to watch.
Bad: A script written by a 10 year old, bad lines, forced "hip hop" lingo, way too many scenes of people talking by themselves in their cars, idiotic plot turns that serve as poor excuses to have yet another ho-hum car race, an annoying as shite, bad acting FBI Agent, lots of bad acting all around, putrid dialogue, a stupid and improbable to the point of being idiotic last block and for some reason all cops in this flick are morons. The film felt more like a Target Audience Product than a real film to me, it made the original look like a damn classic.
Conclusion: Will appeal to the Bling Blingers or car jocks of the world, I was bored most of the way and kept groaning. If this is "summer fun movies" today, then we're in trouble. T2 now that's a summer movie, Speed that's a summer movie, this is an insult to my intelligence. But that's just me. See the original again, or better yet rent Point Break, the movie the original ripped off shamelessly.

Bad bad bad movie. Unrealistic. Incredibly bad acting.
Where was the freaking script? Was it even edited for stupidness? I think not.
Its probably one of the worst summer movies to come out in a long long time. Someone say godzilla? This movie should of been released straight to video. Absolutely no reason for a sequel to a decent car flick.
Paul Walker is officially one of the worst actors of generation Y. Tyrese and Ludacris should just stick to making tunes. Stick more unknown actors and some 4 banger cars plus some ok american muscle and you get this movie.
Want unrealistic? Go see this movie! Want bad acting? Go see this movie! Wanna see someone walk out of a head-on collision at 160 Mph? Go see this movie! Wanna see cars jump 50 feet in the air and not get damaged? Go see this movie!
Where are the freakin' cops? I mean, this IS, Miami after all. 4 car- length street races in one of the biggest cities in America? muahahahahahahaha. Right.
This movie was laughably bad. Think glitter = comedy and you might see where I'm coming from.
Grade : 1/10.
The yenko (which was a clone btw) and the saleen were pretty cool cars which gave my score a 1.
2 stupid 2 waste your time (and $$$).

Pretty fun, mindless action film, is entertaining enough to turn your brain off and enjoy. Paul Walker isn't the most animated actor and he didn't add anything new to his role, but he wasn't bad in it either, whilst Tyrese's addition was worthwhile as he put in a charasmatic, energetic performance making you think 'Vin who?'. Cole Hauser was a bad ass as the villain, but he didn't have a whole lot of screen time, but he made his wafer thin character meaty, but his 'capture', so to speak, wasn't satisfying enough. Eva Mendes was a sexy ass agent and there's a strange attraction to Devon Aoki's cute and spunky racer Suki, that more of her would've been appreciated. Ludacris was a fare better, and more natural, actor than that of Ja Rule and James Remar went through the motions decently as the only noticeable cop. The story this time wasn't too important, but it's enough to keep you interested, and the fun that was had came more from the film not taking it too seriously, and having good chemistry between its leads, Walker and Tyrese. Not a must-see movie, but you could do worse, and I was satisfied with John Singleton's fun popcorn ride. 7/10

My review of 2 Fast 2 Furious
IN SHORT: 2 Fast still manages to entertain despite missing original cast members Vin Diesel,Michelle Rodriguez, and original director Rob Cohen.
THE GOOD:Ok im going to be honest here, there is absolutely no science to this movie at all, meaning it doesnt require a thinking cap.You get what exactly was advertised.Tricked out cars,Scantily clad and beautiful women,Good looking guy's with chiseled bodies, and facial features,Amazing stunts with cars, which kids and adults should not try at home.Paul Walker returns as Brian O'Conner this time he's down in Miami street racing for cash, since he has been disavowed by the police force, for letting Diesel go in the first flic. But he's busted and has since garnered a police record about 6 pages long. But there is a way out he has to help bring down a money laundering bad guy.So he picks up an old friend Tyrese as Roman Pearceand this is where the fun begins.
The two actors bring out the best in each other,i found the friendship believable, some critics have called it homo-erotic but i didnt read that much into. It's the buddy that you know inside out you know what moves he/she is going to make before they even wake up the next day.I have to give praise to director John Singleton for once again bringing out the best in Tyrese as he did with him for Baby Boy (2001) ,the guy is just a natural on screen. The lovely Eva Mendes as Monica Clemente,is underused but i guess she was filming Out of Time (2003) with Denzel Washington,at the same time as 2 Fast.Cole Hauser as the bad guy Carter Verone does make the most of his time onscreen providing another leathery tough as nails villain.Thank goodness rapper Ludacris's screen time is limited he should stick to rapping.
THE BAD:Ok I know its a movie but a guy hits a a wall doing 150 MPH and gets out the car and says ouch!?! Also i didnt feel as attached to the characters as i did with the first flic, which is what still makes the original a grade above its sequel. And of course there are some serious plot holes!
IN THE END:Not a bad flic, but a good one with the help of the charisma of its stars, and the mind blowing stunts and sounds.Scale of 1-10 a 7

Picture this! High School Senior graduates, new relationships blossoming, old relationships holding down, babes peeping the guys, homies peeping the babes, young parents who can't find a babysitter, young mothers with kids in tow, a few single guys speckled throughout, the blue light glow of cell phones in the dark..........Summer Time Movies are here!
2 Fast 2 Furious Delivers! When the credits roll, the feeling is.......that was fun! good movie!
John Singleton, a decent cast, awesome cars, cute babes & the Miami heat make for an enjoyable ride.
Light hearted fun!
Stand Out Performance from Tyrese. Eva Mendes looks Hot!
I could of used more "Hip Hop" beats flowing through the movie. O'well!
Thumbs Up!

I enjoyed this movie for what it was. A pointless story about car races and hot girls shaking their asses. And plus no Vin Disel. :D

The good: It ended.
The Bad: NO VIN DISEL. HELLO!!!
Granted almost every movie Vin makes would not work without Vin, but that was the first, 2nd and 3rd clue about this movie. The car crash, un-freakin-believable. I thought this was 2 fast 2 furious, not superman. Nuff sed.

I thought that the sequel to THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS still manages to entertain. You just have to take the movie for what it is........ mindless and entertaining .
I thought it was stylish, cool, and adrenaline pumping fun. I loved the hot cars.......and the stunts and car crashes were awesome to watch.
Just a fun way to spend an afternoon. 7.5/10

2 Fast 2 Furious A Great Surprise!
2 Fast 2 Furious is certainly the biggest surprise of the year for me. I wasn't expecting much at all, especially with the title it has. The cinema was full and everyone loved it. I thought the music was great, the chicks were great and the cars were also great. The movie was filled with eye candy galore and Eva Mendes is damn hot! I also liked the addition of the European cars... very cool. Despite its bad reviews from critics and sometimes its a bit cheesy, the movie still gets a solid 8/10 from me.

2 FAST 2 FURIOUS is what going to the theater is all about; having a good time. It's loud, fast and full of action. The cars are cool and the chicks are hot. It's also much better then the original.
Paul Walker reprises his role as Brian O'Conner. Now he resides in sunny Miami and is now a full time racer. He gets busted the FBI wants him to work undercover to bring a local drug dealer Carter Varone down. He only agrees if he can choose his partner. His partner is named Roman Pierce and his played by Tyrese. He brings a certain charm and wit to the role that Vin Diesle doesn't have. I really enjoyed his performance, one of the better singer-turned-actor performances.

Eva Mendes plays an undercover agent that may be getting tooclose to Varone, who is played by Cole Hauser. There both solid enough in there respective roles.2F2F is much stronger in the acting field then the original. Maybe that has something to do with the lack of Vin Diesle, Michelle Rodriguez and Ja Rule? Mendes is also much hotter then Michelle Rodriguez.
John Singleton does a great job. The Miami setting is awesome and the action scenes are exciting. Some of the camera angles are very cool, although he seems to use the same ones over and over. The whole look and tone is much lighter then the first one and there is more humor.
The action and chases are much more frequent then in the original. The kick ass first chase and the final 35 minutes are so were extremely entertaining and put a huge smile on my face.

What complaints do I have? Well, the plot isn't exactly that great. Why wouldn't Varone just get someone drive a normal car at normal speed to deliver the goods? Another thing that bothered me was the constant street lingo, but hey, it's not trying to be anything it isn't. It's a good ol' fasioned action movie, nothing more.
If your a fan of the original, you like cool cars, action movies are your thing or you watch re-runs of Miami Vice and can't get enough of Vice City then I recommend you check out 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS 8/10

The film was real bad. You'd think it was done by a first time director. Although some action scenes were well done (although it did feel like playing Gran Tourismo on the Playstation) the rest just looked bad. Camera shots didn't seem right with way too many wide shots and very little over-the-shoulder-shots and the angles seemed a tad dodgy. All the actors seemed lazy that they couldn't be bothered to hit their marks, hence, occassional silences between each line. The shot continuinity screwed up a fair few times too. The camera positioning was all over the place. In fact, it got painful to watch.
Lazy writing, lazy directing, lazy acting.

Just saw this movie.
I liked it. Needed more racing action. The storyline should had been with the racing aspect than a money laundering plot.
Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner. Now he lives in Miami and is now a full time racer. He gets busted by the FBI. They want him to work undercover to bring down a local drug dealer Carter Varone.
Should had worked the firing and letting him go into the movie.
And showing him turning to the racing world after being thrown off the force.
The cars were amazing. I get chills when I see them. The action scenes just got my heart pounding.
Overall, I really liked this movie.

There’s a reason the world is going into a decline. It’s movies like 2 Fast 2 Furious that are #1 at the box office. Now, you’re going to blame me for the downfall of the world, but I DID NOT WANT TO SEE THIS! I thought, since my friend wanted to see this, eh, why not, it may not be that bad. That was the first mistake of the night. Next was actually paying $6 to see this. Last was actually not leaving the theater five minutes into it and not seeing another movie. Even the preview for Pirates of the Caribbean was better than this movie, and I think Pirates of the Caribbean looks like a horrible movie.
I’m just as ready as anyone for summer popcorn movies, but I expect them to be entertaining and fun. I don’t mind stupid plots and undeveloped characters if I have a good time. 2 Fast 2 Furious was anything but that. Basically, it tried to be too many things: action, thriller, romance, drama, and comedy. Let me analyze them one by one.
For an action movie to be a good action movie, it needs to have many action scenes that keep you interested. Obviously, the car races are supposed to be the action, except, well, there were only about two, they didn’t keep me interested, and they had such bad camera angles I thought I was going to vomit. I couldn’t tell anything that anyone was doing because the camera was always in the wrong spot and changed so constantly I felt nauseous. They tried to be in positions to make the cars look like they were going quickly, while in fact they were probably going at about 10 MPH and being pulled. In fact, when you looked at the background, it was moving slowly. Universal, as I’ve said before, has never had good special effects, but for overhead shots of the cars, they were obviously fake.
2 Fast 2 Furious is so ridiculous, the culminating “thriller” scene is laughable. It’s impossible to believe that a car can drive onto a boat and the bad guy is taken away. It’s just so bad. Usually films have some ground in reality, while this one just lives in its own little world where the semi-bad guys always win and the bad guys always lose, no matter how impossible or stupid things become.
Romance in action movies is like going into a gun fight with a knife. It’s unusable and it’ll end up making it worse. Both main characters, Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Roman Pearce (Tyrese), fall for Monica (Eva Mendes) (I think, my full attention couldn’t be at the screen), and the psuedo-romance that ensues is completely worthless, unnecessary, and drags out its overlong runtime. You know, some movies don’t actually have love stories in them, but I guess they were trying to open up its target audience and diversify.
I have only seen part of the first movie, but I know two things from it: it’s a good thing that Vin Diesel wasn’t in this movie, and this follow-up was going to be pretty bad. What’s so bad was how it tried to have great characters and a deep plot. The characterization of Pearce, who was new in this movie, was so shallow, but the part that we did find out about him, it’s barely there. Also, it’s supposed to seem like it could happen in real life. So nobody’s going to notice when two cars go over 100 MPH on city streets? A bad guy just happens to hire two undercover people? Puh-leeze!
Movies like this need to have good one-liners, as all good action movies do. When a few were given out, they could have been humorous, but the wooden acting by everyone made them stupid. Innuendoes could have been flowing quickly, but, nope, bad acting spoiled it. Walker, who was good in Joy Ride, quickly ruins whatever name he had for himself, while Tyrese makes a point most people need to understand: rappers do not make good actors! And speaking of rappers, it brings me to one of the only good points of the movie.
The music, when it wasn’t rap, it was kind of techno. Music like that always wins me over, and I really liked it. The one other good point of the movie was Mark Boone Junior, whom I really liked in Memento, had a small role in possible the best sequence of the movie, which wasn't very good. Boone needs to have larger roles! He's very good. Not something I can say for the entire movie, though.

I did not have the highest expectations for this movie. I gave the original Fast and the Furious a 5/10 because it tried to be something it wasn't. It seemed to try to be an intelligent film when it should have taken the mindless approach. This one is a lot different. It knows it's a mindless action movie so it has a lot more fun. The stunts are so over the top it's awesome. The stunts are all it has though. No absorbing characters or anything else. Just mindless action, and that's about all it's good for. So overall good action movie where you don't have to turn your brain on to understand what's going on.
2 Fast 2 Furious- 7/10 :)

I thought this was a good movie. It may not have a very good plot but I thought it was still great fun. The cars will cool and it had great action. I still wish that vin diesel was in this. I wish He had not taken the part for a man apart. 8/10

2 Fast 2 Furious while having one of the dumbest titles ever was a surprisingly fun film. not as good as Fast and the Furious mainly due to the loss of Diesel, it still manages to be a very entertaining film. the performances are pretty average, theres nothing great, but also nothing bad. the cars themselves look cool and are used in some great action scenes and chases. the plot is pretty standard stuff and theres no surprises but its well directed, looks great and most importantly is very entertaining

2 Fast 2 Furious is a good movie. It's chase/race scenes are fun and exciting. And Eva Mendes is great to look at. Plus the gay undertones between Paul Walker and Tyrese add a whole new dimension to the film. The only reason the original rates better is Vin Diesel.
