I was reading the British movie magazine EMPIRE and saw and ad and review for the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: SPECIAL EDITION. This is the original. I looked all over for a region 1 version of this but can't find anything. If anyone has any information on this please pass it along!

I've read some comparisons, and the Region 1 disc is meant to be shit compared to the new region 2, the picture and sound on the region 2 are meant to be a lot better and the extras are also meant to be better,

I think you'll have to be getting a multi-regional player if you want to purchase this one. Being an owner of it, I can say it's a marvelous DVD.

I hat my region one player, I really want this DVD along with many others that ar not avalible in the US. TCM is an American movie, shouldn't we also get a special edition.
