Rounding out the week's news is a rather interesting batch of titles just announced by Artisan Entertainment. Featuring a few reissues of titles already released on DVD as well as some titles that used to be distributed by other studios, cult and horror fans may find a few of these worth considering. Due for release on August 19th are: Bride of Re-Animator, The Fourth Angel, Fright Night Part II, I've Been Waiting For You, Killing Mr. Griffin, Lair of the White Worm, Rodentz and Linda Blair in the spoof Repossessed. All are presented in full screen only with no real extras aside from trailers, despite the fact that some of these had extras on previous releases. Retail is $14.95 a pop.


I'm really happy REPOSSESSED is finally coming to DVD, I've been waiting for it. But I'm very sad that it will be in full-screen :(. I don't think I even want to buy it if it's going to be in full screen. Hopefully they'll eventually put out a widescreen version. I don't know what the hell they were thinking.

I liked Killing Mr. Griffen, and I liked the book. I might buy it.

Repossessed was awesome... I remember seeing it when I was a kid, it was one of the first pairs of boobs ive seen, when the priest asks the lady to put her dress down... lol

Anyone interested in buying Bride of Re-Animator should know that it was made for TV, so the full screen aspect ratio is actually the OAR.

god, i really want bride of re-animator and lair of the white worm but, fullscreen with no extras, i just dont know, are they uncut?

Why re-release Bride Of Re-Animator without the extras from the previous release? Why release Fright Night 2 in shitty full screen?

Let me ask you all a question: if a movie is filmed in fullscreen, would you want the top hlves of the film chopped off so it can fit with your TV or whatever?

Repossesed sucks balls, it's so unfunny. Bride of Re-Animator looks good.
