Tell me what do you think. Honestly.
*SPOILERS?* ;)
• Passengers of “downfall” roller coaster (52+): Killed in massive fatal accident.
• People in waiting line of "downfall" RollerCoaster: crushed by the falling wooden structure.
• Michael: A heavy hammer ball falls over his head, crushing it entirely.
• Jan: After discovering the ‘fake’ design, a chandelier falls over him.
• Ted: While waiting in the car, one of the construction workers accidentally pushes down a heavy cement block over Ted.
• Diane: Before taking a shower in Kurt’s house, she goes downstairs as ‘death’ makes the water of the sink to start running (it doesn't go down the pipe because Diane left a towel in the sink bowl), the water becomes electrified because of the connected radio, it falls off and to the room’s carpet, when she comes back, steps on the electrified water, is tossed back and passes through the glass door, then while laying over the doorframe, the shards in the top slide off like a guillotine and chops her in half almost entirely.
• Justin: (o.s.) Burnt to death. His burnt, half past dead is seen in the hospital by Kitty and Kurt after the car crash.
• Scott: A truck of heavy construction wires crashes in front of them, making one of the tubes to impale Scott through the chest and out on the back, he then falls back to the open street sewer his body is almost ripped in half from the fall stopped by the tube...and as he can’t get out, a trash bin, rolls off downhill and passes OVER what’s not underground of his body, BREAKING it in half.
• Trish: HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT.
• Bludworth: HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT. But i am heading a lot to be like Brian's death in FD2, unexpected and in the last frame.

These deathscenes are REALLY awesome and creative. I like the idea of the rollercoaster. I have not seen FD2,but the first one was really good.

Thanks a lot!! I am really trying to make creative death scenes but I am still really down with Ted's death.

Cool death scenes, they are all sound really cool, the rollercoaster thing is good. Diane and Scott's deaths sound good and Jan I reckon would be a good unexpected offing.
Suggestion for Trish
After seeing Scott's impalement from her dad's office window, she runs down to get to him, of course he dies whilst she's getting to him, she gets to the lobby and runs for the front door, which is a constantly revolving one. We see a kid sitting in the lobby with a toy car which he drives into the door, which gets lodged in between one of the doors as its revolving and the wall it passes. Trish is in the door at the time and gets trapped, first smacking her face, splitting her nose. She starts trying to push the door. The toy car thrn starts to break in half and eventually slips out of its groove and the door starts revolving again, but with Trish not expecting it to happen, she slips, the door then revolves around with Trish in it, half of her body slips out with her lower body still in the revolving door frame. She swings around and smacks the back of her head on the next wall, with the lower part of her body swinging around with the door, squashing her body and breaking her back.
I hope that made sense, and paints some kind of a picture. Either way, keep up the good work Nightcrawler.

The thing is that I can't use it for Trish (story reasons, the main theme these is that one of them is not meant to die, everyone thinks it is Trish because she had the premonition and caused the 'original' chain reaction but almost at the end, it is revealed that KURT is the one that's eant to die, and as Trish intervened when Kitty was going to die and sent her to the end (which only left us with Trish and THEN Kitty) Trish dies and Kurt (who is not meant to die) intervenes in Kitty's second death, making her to go after Kurt (who still is not meant to die) and saving both.) I know its a bit complicated but it actually makes sense see...what I liked about this script is that it fills all the plotholes from part 2 like.
-Why did Brian die at the end of part 2 if he wasn't meant to die in the first place.
-Why didn't 'new life' saved Alex, Clare and Carter in part 1.
I'll probably change Ted's death to that you just mentioned, it kicks all kinds of ass! Thanks man!!!

If that happened over here the fuse would blow almost as soon as the radio touched the water (she would still get fried though) - wouldn't the same happen in the U.S.?
Perhaps she could go over to investigate why water is pissing out of the sink and the water could become electrified.

Well, what if she walks back into the room and her bare feet touch the water on the carpet. She looks down at the carpet, up to the sink and then with an expression of terror on her face, to the radio falling into the sink bowl (perhaps a gust of wind coming in the window moves a curtain into it).

What? You planning to kill Bludworth off....THE Bludworth....Bludworth as in Tony Todd Bludworth? Ok, fine with me. Anyway, I like your death scenes, and they are a hell of a lot better than the ones I created for my draft.
Loved Scott and Jan's deaths as well as Dianes. Don't really know about Ted and Michael's deaths, though, but you did put hammer balls to good use. I think you should make Trish's death very bloody without being to over the top fake. She deverses a good death after all, because she did have the premonition.
How does Bludworth fit into the whole design sceme anyway? Are you going for the one suggestion that he should have a niece on the rollercoaster and was in line with her, or what?
And at least you have imagination when it comes to your death scenes. Mine and the other people I know who are trying to do a FD3 screenplay are pretty crappy. EX: In mine, a girl is outside on the porch. She sits down on an old wooden swing and it collapses, catching her chin on the hook. Blood is spurting out, but she gets lose. At the last moment, she falls on the lose railing on the porch, causing her to fall onto a lawn dart below. Crappy, yes. Campy, yes.
Good luck, and tell me when your screenplay is done.

How does Bludworth fit into the whole design sceme anyway? Are you going for the one suggestion that he should have a niece on the rollercoaster and was in line with her, or what? yeah, Im planning on killing him in the very last frame when no one expects it. Everyone must think he has cheated death for good.
I couldn't go with the idea of him in the rollercoaster (I did make a little reference to the niece in the coaster bit, when they visit Bludworth for the first time, there is a corpse in the crematoriu, a character goes "Who's that?", to which Bludworth answers: "My niece, she died in Downfall").
Bludworth fits the pattern because of a chain reaction. After Michael's death, they decide to pay a visit, when they exit, Bludworth goes AFTER them and BOOM! the morgue explodes, they create an inner rift in this new design and at the end, Bludworth does die. I know it's tad confusing, but as soon as it's fininshed it will go your way.
Thanks for the props.

Now that you explained how he fits in, I think it is a very good idea. Maybe it will offer up to a bigger part with Bludworth?

Well, here are the ACTUAL scenes from the screenplay.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE ACCIDENT:
CUT TO:
ROLLER COASTER LINE GUARD
-Next 18 come in.
Trish notices yet another resemblance to ‘180’ and gets even more anxious.
KURT
-That’s us...come on.
Kurt grabs Kitty and pulls her with him, they all walk into the boarding platform, a car is being boarded in front of him. Kurt looks to the other side of the platform.
KURT’s POV
He notices far away, JUSTIN, a thin man with his hat in hand; he has bad news for someone.
Kurt then looks up at the car that is currently departing and he sees Mr. Sawa seating in the front car, aside a random student.
ROLLER COASTER TECHNICIAN
Pressing the ‘go’ button, making the car depart.
-Off you go! Enjoy Downfall.
The next car arrives as this one departs up the hill and is boarded by Trish and Scott in the front car (Trish looks remarkably anxious), Kitty and Kurt in the next, Ted and Diane, followed by Jan and a random student behind. The car fills up with 10 more students, the bars fall on the passenger’s knees.
TRISH’s POV
Justin, walking through the boarding platform’s personnel bridge, heading towards the technician, who is seconds away of pressing the ‘go’ button.
ROLLER COASTER TECHNICIAN
Seconds away from pressing the ‘go’ button.
-Off you go!
Suddenly, Kurt and Kitty’s bar SWINGS open, leaving them exposed. Kitty gasps. Trish is sweating extremely nervous.
KURT
Looking at the open bar.
-Jesus!!
A coaster attendant reaches over Kurt’s seat and closes the bar again, locking it tightly.
ROLLER COASTER TECHNICIAN
Laughing nervously.
-Sorry about that, folks...now, off you go! Enjoy Downfall
He presses the button, as he does, the car departs uphill in the track, students laugh and scream. Everyone looks happy and thrilled, Trish on the other hand, doesn’t seem very happy, she checks her watch as the car still climbs up the never ending looking hill.
TRISH’S POV
Her watch marks “18:00”, she is sweating, boarding tears. She sees Mr. Sawa’s car rushing underneath.
KURT
Claps his hands and raises them, pulling one of Kitty’s arms up, Kitty doesn’t look so nervous anymore.
-Woo-hoo! Yeah!
EXT. – BOARDING PLATFORM - SIMULTANEOUS
The roller coaster technician looking up the hill and opening the bars of the next car. He departs the following car and up it goes the third and final car.
EXT. – TRISH’S CAR - CONTD.
The car speeds 80 m/h uphill for the next hill.
EXT. – BOARDING PLATFORM - SIMULTANEOUS
(from the platform) We see the third car reaching the highest point seconds from descending. We now see Justin approaching and greets the Technician. Justin mouths something to the technician, we don’t understand it. The technician reacts awkwardly and faints upon hearing whatever he heard, he tosses himself back to the control panel and accidentally pulls a lever on his way, he hits his head on the corner and falls, faint, to the floor. The lever activates some kind of emergency brake.
EXT. – MR. SAWA’S CAR - SIMULTANEOUS
The first car speeds up in a straight track on the bottom of the structure, the brakes that were just activated start slowing the car’s speed, creating sparkles at the sides of the car. The car sharply jolts! Everyone tenses, gasps. The camera sweeps back. Metal TWISTS under extreme pressure. Passengers screams as the car finally STOPS halfway through the final straight track.
EXT. – TRISH’S CAR – CONTD.
The same effect but this car stops at the very top of the second hill, everyone gasps and screams, Trish looks like she’s about to faint.
KURT
Hysterical
-Jesus Christ!!
We hear the sound of the raging third car behind, the panic realizing face of Kurt ‘Oh my God!’...BOOM! The third car RAMS the second car and pushes it down the hill, (the third car) ramps off and falling OFF the track, this car falls off OVER another track, breaking it and rolling off, shattering the wooden structure... killing almost every unfortunate passenger in this third car.
EXT. – MR. SAWA’S CAR - SIMULTANEOUS
The motionless car, full of hysterical students.
MR SAWA
-Everyone stay ca-
BAM! He is interrupted by the third car falling OVER them breaking the passengers in pieces and obviously killing everyone that was left alive. The cars roll off the track and BAM! Fall lifeless in the floor, breaking more of the wooden structure, which looks like about to break entirely.
EXT. – TRISH’S CAR – CONTD.
The car rages off the second hill, lifeless students sit on the very last car and does a very tilted curve, every passenger screams, pale, knowing there is no hope left. We see how the car approaches the impassable, twisted and broken metal track...the car passes through it and ramps off. The car flies through the wooden structure, student’s heads’ are impaled and even torn off by the loose metal, the car falls down and hits the floor.
CLOSEUP – TRISH
With his face covered in blood and with his boyfriend’s and friend’s life missing. She is almost dead, not much life left on her. Some more passengers look alive, but their skulls are broken, their heads cracked and spilling blood. A hopeless moan from Jan.
Trish looks up and sees, almost in slow motion, hearing nothing...the wooden boards (of the structure) falling OVER them, when she is about to get squashed, she SCREAMS hopelessly.
SMASH CUT TO:
CLOSEUP - TRISH'S TERRIFIED EYES
Dilating rapidly, as the shock of what appears to be happening before her washes over her very psyche.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MICHAEL:
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. – SHOWER ROOM – Day.
The room is white tile, covering every wall, ceiling and floor. Music is heard coming from a lap top computer of another student in the locker room. Michael exits a shower stall, he has a towel wrapped around his waist. He walks to the mirror and wipes the steam off. Another black student, TRAVIS, walks towards him and pats his back.
TRAVIS
-What’s up man? Why you playin’ like a girl today?
MICHEAL
Starts shaving.
-I don’t know...
TRAVIS
-Well, you better play better on the finals, man.
MICHAEL
-Yeah whatever...
Travis leaves screen and walks towards the locker room.
MICHAEL’S POV
He is looking at himself in the mirror as the song fades away, he sees a black shadow passing behind him, looks back. Nothing.
Michael walks through the threshold leading to the locker room and passes a rack of gym gear (edging the threshold’s side, to the left), which holds footballs, hammer-balls, soccer gear, etc...He opens his locker and dresses up, he leaves the shampoo in the top of the locker furniture. He walks to the tiled room again with gel and a comb.
We see the locker, open. And in the top, the soap, a sheer wind passes by and pushes slightly the soap...it rolls off, the locker furniture and slides down the tiled floor.
The next song starts, John Denver’s ‘Rocky Mountain High’, of course.
JOHN DENVER (from the lap-top)
-He was born in the summer of his twenty-seventh year, coming home from...
Michael is ready, he walks to the room and OOMPH! He falls, slides down with the soap in the floor and as he falls, he hits the rack with one arm and shakes it slightly. He hits his head massively on impact, blood pours out. No, he is not dead...yet.
JOHN DENVER (from the lap-top)(CONTD.)
-In the Colorado Rocky Mountain high...
The rack shakes and brakes, the balls roll off the rack and into Michael’s head.
MICHAEL’S POV
The shaking rack, a hammer-ball rolls off...SQUASH.
His head is shattered, it simply EXPLODES with the pressure of two heavy hammer-balls pressuring. He is now dead.
SMASH CUT TO:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JAN:
JAN
Chuckling.
-So I’m pretty much safe until Scott dies...
Scott looks at him.
SCOTT
-You are a fucking asshole...
JAN
-Probably...But I am a safe assho-
Without a cut or a pan... a chandelier suddenly falls INTO frame and, SPLAT! Crushes Jan flat, obviously killing him. Everyone is frozen. Diane jolts into a scream.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TED:
KURT’S POV
He notices Mrs. Cherry waving at him.
KURT
Walking off the van.
-I’ll go with her.
KITTY
Walking off the van.
-I’ll go with you, It’ll just be a second, Ted.
Ted nods “go”.
The camera then pans up to the building right next and above Kurt’s van, we see there’s a construction site, workers placing heavy cement blocks in the sides. One of the workers places the block on the very edge of the building’s top.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER #1
Looking down to the accident, Kurt’s van is just below.
-Shit, what happened here??
The camera pans down to the van, to Ted, who sits in the back seat. The music from the radio shifts to: of course, John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High”.
PAN TO:
The heavy block above, the construction worker leans a little on it.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER #1
Looking down to the accident.
-God...
The block starts SLIDING down due to the worker’s weight, as it slides, we see the worker’s terrified face as he is pulled back by his comrade.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER #2
-Careful, man!
Nevertheless, the block FALLS OFF.
PAN TO:
Ted in the backseat.
TED’S POV
The rear view mirror, he spots ‘death’s shadow’.
CONSTRUCTION WORKER #1 (o.s.)
-WATCH OUT!!!
Before he can react, without a cut or a pan. CRASH! The block CRUSHES the van, and CRUSHES Ted inside. Kurt and Kitty jolt from where they were standing. Kitty SCREAMS at the sight. Authorities rush to the accident site.
KURT’S POV
The TWISTED metal the van is now, he might even spot parts of Ted’s crushed limbs and flesh.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIANE: (without changing)
INT. – KURT’S HOUSE - BATHRROM - NOON
We see Diane walking in the bathroom wearing nothing but a bathroom robe, she hangs a towel in the shower wall. She stares at herself in the mirror for a second, we see a small glimpse of her well developed breasts.
We see ‘death’s wind’ flipping her hair, she looks at the window. Closed. She raises her eyebrows and leaves the bathroom.
CUT TO:
EXT. – KURT’S PORCH – NOON - SIMULTANEOUS
The cab stops and Kurt and Kitty run to the house.
INT. – KURT’S HOUSE – LIVING ROOM – NOON
Kurt and Kitty run in the house and into the living room, where Scott, and Trish are sitting in the couch, there’s someone else there: Bludworth.
TRISH
-Kurt, What happened...Where’s Ted?
KURT
-Ted...died.
TRISH
With the most surprised look yet.
-WHAT!?
SCOTT
Scared.
-Wh-why did he die!? That wasn’t the design!
KITTY
Crying.
-He was crushed...in Kurt’s van.
SCOTT
-Fuck...No!
KITTY
-Where’s Diane?
TRISH
With foggy eyes.
-Upstairs, she was going to take a shower.
CUT TO:
INT. – KURT’S HOUSE - BATHROOM – NOON – CONTD.
She comes back holding a small CD player and before she places it in the countertop, next to the sink, she notices it is wet, she wipes it with a hand towel, leaves it in the countertop and plugs it. As she is hitting the ‘ON’ button:
KITTY (o.s.)
From downstairs.
-Diane!!
DIANE
Leaving the bathroom
-Yes?
As we are left alone in the bathroom, we see death’s wind enter the bathroom from a closed window. We see a close-up of the sink, it starts dripping water, more and more. The water can’t go down the sink because the towel is blocking the pipe. As the water reaches the top of the sink bowl, it drips to the floor and soaks the radio, electrifying the water, which drips to the floor.
CUT TO:
INT. – KURT’S HOUSE – NOON – CONTD
KITTY
Screaming.
-DIANE!
Diane walks into screen and notices Kitty’s tears, she frightens.
DIANE
-What happened? Where’s Ted?!
KITTY
-Di, he...is dead.
DIANE
Jolts into tears.
-No...
Kitty hugs her and cries with her.
DIANE
Crying in Kitty’s shoulder.
-What happened to him?
KITTY
-There’s no difference Di, it’s better if you don’t know.
DIANE
Lets go off Kitty, she is crying.
-God.
Diane walks upstairs crying.
KITTY
-Di...!
Trish stops her like “Let her be alone”.
Diane opens the framed stained glass door to the room where she was before and cries her eyes off leaning against it, it is clear that she is extremely sad.
DIANE’S POV
The soaked floor.
She walks towards it and as soon as she steps on the water: ZAP! She is shocked by the electricity running through the water, she can’t move. We see her struggling to scream, but she can’t until she is tossed back, CRASH, she falls on her back, half dead in the framed stained glass door, crushing it. Her back falls on the lower part of the frame looking up, glass shards still hang in the top as her body bleeds uncontrollably from the glass cuts.
CUT TO:
We see everyone downstairs jolt from the sound of the crashing glass. Everyone stands up.
TRISH
-DIANE!!
CUT TO:
DIANE’S POV
She looks up; half past dead at the glass shards. She sees ‘death’s shadow’ in one of them; moments before the big, sharp shard SLIDES off down like a guillotine, chopping her almost entirely in half.
We see how Kitty sees a dead Diane and SCREAMS a long, penetrating HOWL: “NOOOO!!!”.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JUSTIN:
Just like that, a stretcher carrying a burnt man is rushed through the lobby, Kitty jolts and shrieks in disgust at the sight of the burnt man.
Kurt stands to look.
KURT’S POV
The burnt man is actually JUSTIN, who is still conscious but half past dead.
KURT
-Jesus! What happened?
DOCTOR #1
-His house burnt down.
JUSTIN (to Kurt, who follows them)
With a raspy, broken voice.
-One of you is not supposed to die...that’s the design...
KURT
-What?...Who?
JUSTIN
-I-I don’t know...
Kurt stays still and turns over to Kitty, who stares at him, scared.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SCOTT:
KURT’S POV
A red truck loaded with construction metal tubes emerges uphill and hits with the back a trash bin, pushing it a little downhill...and the truck drives slowly, coming downhill. Kurt turns at Scott, who is still standing in the street.
KURT
-Scott, get out of the street.
Scott does.
The trash bin starts rolling off downhill slowly.
TRUCK DRIVER’S POV
He sees the open sewer. Jolts.
TRUCK DRIVER
-Shit!
He turns the steering wheel violently and curves, (avoids the open sewer and stops perpendicular to it), tossing some of the tubes aside. One simply PASSES through Scott’s chest and exits in his back, Trish and Kitty SCREAM.
Everyone is frozen.
Scott gives a step behind and FALLS to the open sewer but is stopped from falling in entirely by the tube, leaving his upper body out in the street. Scott moans in pain.
TRISH’S POV
The heavy rolling trash bin coming over TO Scott’s blood oozing body he is almost dead.
Trish runs and tries to pull Scott’s body out, the trash bin is coming at a crushing high speed. Second away from both being crushed by the bin, Bludworth pulls Trish out of the way...the bin passes OVER Scott’s upper body MASHING it into a CRUSHED pulp, the bin also crashes against the truck and STOPS over the sewer. Scott’s crushed flesh and blood is visible to the sides of the bin.
TRISH
Screaming. Crying.
-NO!!
KURT
Sad, edging tears.
-Oh...fuck.
Kitty passes out.
BLUDWORTH
-Jesus fucking Christ!

Wow! Just wow!. I really really like it. The deaths are very cool, specially the one with the hammer ball. I don't understand how does the chandelier fall. And I think you should change Diane's death. But dont listen to me. I really like it. Can't wait to read it. Don't forget to email it to me. ;)

the only thing that is a little bit silly is when the guy faints and hits the buttons....it's a little contrived. Sounds like you wanted to come up with something to hit the buttons.,.

but the rest is HOT Well, yeah. Thats exactly it. The idea was: If Highway 23 had never happened, the Downfall accident would have never happened, thats the basic idea, I know its cheesy but its really hard. Thanks anyway.

Here's Trish death:
• Trish: A lot of stuff happens, there is a hook hanging in the wall, and an ironing table under it, after Kitty's near death where the skylight swings trying to push her to the hook, Trish pushes Kitty out of the way but SHE is pushed backwards to the hook, she lands on the ironing table and the hook pressing against her back. Kurt figures out that HE is the one meant to live and as soon as he says: "Oh God...It's not Trish"...The ironing table COLLAPSES and Trish falls, only to be hooked in the back of the head, her lifeless body is seen hanging as blood pours down the wall...sad really. :D
