Most people, or at least children, their parents, and teachers HAVE heard of this book. It did win the fucking Newbary (sp?) medal, the highest honor a children's chapter book can win. Don't talk before you know.

i went to the theaters numerous times to see movies, and b4 the movie they showed the trailer for this movie... and after it was over... EVERYONE was like "wtf is that... i never heard of that god damn book" so i did speak with some knowledge dude

and its Newberry Award (in case u wanted to know)

Yea most adults haven't heard of it. I have, never read it though. I snuck into it after seeing "THe Mighty Wind." I thought it was really good for a kids movie. Worth renting I think.
