*SPOILERS ahead*

Wow.

What

a

fucking

excellent

fucking

movie.

Jesus. I loved this movie. Its not coz im in love with Monica Bellucci and coz you get to see what she really looks like (guys you get my drift ;)) but coz its one of the most realistic movies i've seen in a long long long time. Down to the part that always used to piss me off in movies (like two couples in a bed that just woke up but she is covering her tits for the audience even though its realistic that she shouldnt coz she's with her man.) The fact that its done 'Memento' style or backwards is awesome and truly one of the reasons the message at the end is so striking, shocking and true. (I even think that Noe used this backwards technique better and it was more important in this film than in Memento)
Monica Bellucci did an excellent job especially in the controversial rape scene which im so glad they didnt edit it or censor it coz its fucking important to the story to say the least.
The incredible irony that comes after that is excellent (maybe a bit overdone but Noe is forgiven as he is trying to make a very big point) the conversations in the subway, the expressions, gesticulations all is so realistic i couldnt believe it. When they were talking in the subway i felt i was in the conversation as well... it was soo well done. Cassel and the rest also did an excellent job. Cassel and Bellucci really stick out and prove their acting skills.they were truly amazing...and (dare i say it for she is MY woman) but they do make a good couple.

Wonderful movie, with an extremely important message by the end and it makes me walk out of it and say 'That's life...no question'.

I might regret this in the future but..... i give a perfect grade 10/10 for Irreversible.

'Time Destroys Everything'

Wow.

No one else has any comments on this film?

That's odd.

P.S. Did i mention that i love it when Bellucci speaks French and that i fell in love with her even more after i saw this?

I also loved it, I thought I was pretty desensitized after seeing so many other really intense films in my lifetime, but I wasn't expecting to be shocked as much as I was. I don't think it was gratuitous either (the violence), it had it's place in the film and was very necessary to the plot. Powerful, meaningful movie!!!

8.5/10

They do, but there's about 3 or 4 other threads on this movie already.

A deeply disturbing movie...

You can not just love the movie, otherwise you are sick. The movie potrays how awfully bad the world has become and especially the first thirty minutes are pretty rough.

It is a good movie, but not one to watch more than once.

i agree with that last statment you could not love a film like this,

*********spoiler alert**************

its so bleak and powerful there was nothing to feel hopeful about with any of the main charictors at the end of the film i felt that everyone was ruined and nothing good could possibly come out of the event's that took place, and that left me the watcher quite sad and empty at the end,i wanted everything to be all right but know it never will be.
but saying all that it was brillientl peice of film making, well acted and directed and a film that will live with me for a long time, but also one i would be careful to recommend to someone.
