After reading some of the Schmoe's theater peeves, I thought I'd mention one that happened to my friends and I this past Saturday when seeing The Matrix. We were sitting on the left-hand aisle when a guy, who was sitting way past the middle, decided to get up during the movie. Instead of taking the shortest route to the right, he decides to make everyone either stand, move or crouch down in their seats so that he can get out of the row. And then when he returns, he does the same thing instead of just getting to his seat from the right! I felt like tripping him or pushing him down a few rows.

More importantly, when he passed, did he give you the ass or the crotch?

To be honest, I was so into watching The Matrix and so annoyed at being interrupted, that I didn't even notice. It seems that people usually present you with their ass though. :(

I always give the ass to the guys, then turn and give the crotch to the gals.

We can all dream, huh?

Actually, I won't see a movie if I can't sit on the aisle. So I'm not an offender.

Along the same lines as the topic, has this ever happened to anyone? Someone in your aisle decides to get up during the movie for snacks and then, when they return, someone sitting next to them decides that THEY have to get snacks. Why not go at the same time or just have one person do a snack run?
