I have been wondering about this one for a time, but the selection of the movies in my town does not have this Faye Dunaway classic. Is it any good?

Absolutely inspired camp. I can't tell if you're aware of why it's a classic though - it's a fabulous piece of overacting drama queen hammery from Dunaway, and although she's spent much of her career doing exactly that, this is the shining jewel in her crown.
You'll never look at bathroom cleaner or wire hangers the same way again.

Not the greatest film but enjoyable to watch now & then....
My personal favorite quotes from the movie:
[Addressing the men in the Pepsi boardroom]
Joan Crawford: Don't fuck with me fellas. This ain't my first time at the rodeo.
Joan Crawford: No... wire... hangers... EVER!!
(then she commands Christina & the brother (I think, its been awhile since I have seen this movie) to scrub the bathroom. Then Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford says Scrub! And the way she emphasized it......CLASSIC :D

"NO WIRE HANGERS!!!!!!!!!!"
I loved this movie, mainly due to Faye Dunaway's over the top but fun performance as Joan Crawford. One of the best villains to ever grace the screen. In fact, I just put it on my rental queue at Netflix because well....I just miss this film. :)

The scariest thing about that movie were Faye Dunaway's eyebrows! http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/otn/wink/voldar02.gif
Seriously, check it out, excellent camp.
Thinking about it makes me wanna go out and rent it.

Pure and utter cheesy camp at it's best. Everything, right down to the last line!
(paraphrasing so forgive my ignorance if it's wrong):
"Well, she has the last word again!"
"Does she really? Does she really?" (with an muchly over exaggerated look of determination!)
Gotta love it...

Camp, camp, camp at it's finest! I wonder if this is out on DVD? And if so, are there any goodies, i.e., extra scenes, interviews? Yes, this is indeed a classic. Trivia- Christina Crawford was supposedly upset and dissapointed over the movie. Also, a few years back she re-released the book with an additional 150 pages that didn't make it into the original. Talk about fishing that pond dry!

This movie definitely kept my attention. Faye Dunaway...who could possibly top that performance? :D In certain parts she made my skin crawl.
It's not your average lighthearted movie, but it'll keep you watching.
