This is the best version of Snow White that you are bound to see.This rare film is a musical version of the classic Snow White.It was part of the Cannon Movie Tales series.

The film is more faithful to the original Grimm Brothers story.It has all three attempts to kill Snow White and the awakening of Snow White(not a kiss that awakens her).

Dianna Rigg stars as the evil and scheming queen.She sings great and acts very well.Her costumes and hairstyles are out of this world.She does great in each attemp to kill Snow White.She dresses up as a gypsy woman, a cinnese geysha girl, and an old peddler.

Sarah Patterson plays the 16 year old Snow White.She is very lovely and is remembered for her performance as Rosealeen in The Company of Wolves.She is like Snow White right from the storybook page.She is very wonderful.

Nicola Stapelton plays young Snow White in the first 30 min or so.She is very good at acting cute and isent very annoying.She is still acting today.


The plot we all know.I dont need to explain that.

The sets and costumes are very inovative and creative.Diana Rigg's hairstyles and clothes are very interesting indeed.

Probably no one on the board has seen this film,but if it is at youre local video store and you love fairy tales or musicals, it is definatly worth a shot.

I give it a big fat 10/10!
