If the statement comes from Kevin Smith himself, there has to be some validity. I'm actually not too fond of a new cut of the film. It sounds a little too much like "George Lucas" for my taste.

Yeah, it's true, cuz 2004 will be the 10th anniversary of Clerks. It's not really a new cut of the movie, just lots of extras that weren't included in the first DVD. I already have the first one, but if it's worth it (and I'm sure it will be), I'll buy this one too.
