Man oh man why the fuck didn't i play this game when i was a kid?? Thanks to some resources available (:D ), i got this game
about a week ago, and i can't put it down ever since. This has got to be one of the most addictive games EVER. I don't know about you schmoes who have played this, but it pretty much took me less than a week to get good at the game. The circuits are all
pretty easy for me. The only person thats REALLY worth fighting is Tyson. What a rat bastard. This son of a bitch always manages to catch me off guard (1st round, until you hit 1:30...u know what i'm talking about). I have yet to put a serious dent in this bastard as i haven't managed to even knock him down ONCE yet. Oh well, his time will come...and very soon...

Overall, i love this game to death, and will be playing it for a looooooooong time.

10/10

I have been playing this game for about 10 years and it is just as good as it was when i first got it for my birthday. This game is amazing, and my favorite character has to be King Hippo because he is....so great.

I hear ya...this one has never gotten old. Everytime I go back to it I remember all the fun I had the first time. All the little different things each boxer does...having to time there routines. Remembering that you have to Punch Hippo in the mouth, then in the stomach...remembering that you can smoke Glass Joe with the left right combo....trying like hell to time out the Bull Charge!

Ahhhh...and the music when you win a belt and Doc is leading you on the bike while you wait for the password.

So much fun in this game...right there with Zelda and Super Mario Bros.

This game does kick a lot of ass, it's never gotten boring. I beat it along time ago though and I no longer have it.

easily one of the best video games ever made. few games can rival the replay value.

I still find it hilarious how Litttle Mac is the only character who has a shirt of some kind on. Ah Nintendo, I love your old ways of quality control. No wait, I hated it. Stupid Nintendo, censoring Maniac Mansion. . .

Yippee!

I've just beaten the game from start to finish, finally!

And i had my best performance against tyson at the time i'm writing this... a win by TKO at around 2:30 or so, 2nd round.

My best record... 14-0, 14 K.O :)

I said it once and i'll say it again, this game is the fucking BEST!

At least this version is superior to the old arcade version, which the SNES Punch-Out! did a much better job of reproducing.

Great great series of games...It just made me mad that nintendo never released a version on the 64....Or even announced anything for the gamecube or the gba...If it were coming out i'd buy one of those systems....Well i suppose there is always mario kart

:D - I remember NES's Tyson Punch-Out, hell, I even remember Tyson's TV commercials!

:( - I came often close on beating the NES champ - I had to get the code off the store clerk (gamer) to get access to Tyson. He appears to be unbeatable!

Dude no offense but if you are just now playing Tyson's punch out thats pretty bad considering the game is 15 years old. but nonetheless it is still the greatest boxing game of all time fuck knockout kings or whatever else there is Tyson's punch out is the bomb

This game is awesome and just plain hilarious... whenever I got frustrated, I fired it up, beat the crap out of Glass Joe or Don Flamenco (first time you fight him, punch him alternately in the face for about a full minute nonstop and watch him drop) and felt a whole lot better... never finished it though. Damn Soda Popinski always kicks my ass, and if by any chance I get past him, it's goddamn Super Macho Man wiping the floor with me.

The SNES version was also flat-out hilarious, with all the crazy fighters they put in there... an 80+ year-old man who fights with a cane? Damn...

This is my favorite game of all time. I stole it from my cousin about 11 years ago. I still play it and have a kickass time. I've gotten Tyson a few times, but he's still pretty damn hard.
