Hell, I can't even find a picture for this movie, mainly 'cause it's so pathetic.

I'll be the first to say it--I love martial arts movies, especially the cheesy ones. But this is just... BAD. While I can take wirework with a smile, and I love stuff like heroes re-attaching limbs with "Regenerative Chi" or other wonderful BS like that, Vampire Hunters just never entertains.

It strives to be a kung-fu version of John Carpenter's Vampires, but never quite hits the mark--I was laughing a hell of a lot more than anything else, not to mention how my friend and I were cracking jokes throughout the entire thing, MST-style.

If you've got a good hour and a half you wanna waste, then by all means, rent it. Otherwise, you can take this movie outside the store, run it over with your car, and you'll have a LOT more fun.

Kung Pow was intentionally funny. This isn't.

On a positive note, it did have one cool action sequence--the rest were just more of the same that we've seen a hundred times over. I kid you not, I have seen some of these swordfights before, move-for-move. 3.5/10

I saw this at the video store on tuesday, and thought the box art looked pretty good. I don't recall ever hearing of it before. In fact, just from the decent looking video case I almost rented it, but since I already had 7 movies, I decided not to get it. Now I'm glad I didn't. Thanks for the warning! Although I think I might see it sometime with friends, because it sounds like something that would be a blast to make fun of with people.
