BUFFY SEASON FIVE EPISODE TOURNAMENT
ROUND 3
It's time for round 3 of the BTVS Season 5 episode tournament! Thanks to all those who participated in the first 2 rounds - it was great to have you playing! I hope you all join in for this round as well!
Please don't do any other BTVS Season tournaments, I have the rights reserved to do those. But feel free to participate and making up tournaments for other TV shows is cool too.
I may out of line, but do you think it would be alright if I reserved the Angel Season Tournaments as well? I was hoping to an Angel Season 3 tournament next. Please give your thoughts.

I vote Intervention. Both are great episodes, but I liked this one a lot better - it was HILARIOUS!

Tough Love won that match 7-3. It's great to see some new players for round 3, and I was surprised that that episode won! I thought for sure Intervention would!

I vote Spiral. Hugely underrated episode, very entertaining and well-written. I liked Into the Woods as well, which was also very underrated, but Spiral has the edge over that particular episode.

FOREVER
Buffy and Dawn deal with Joyce's death in different ways, Buffy is comforted by Angel, and Dawn wants to bring back her mother using supernatural means.

The Gift gets my vote. Though Forever was an amazing episode, it's nothing against The Gift, which is one of the top 10 best.

I vote for Forever...sigh... does anyone wanna explain the summers blood plotpoint to me then? And given the build up she had got, I thought glory got beat too easily. Apart from the pre credits bit, the gift was one of the weakest eps of that season.

The Gift without question . A really climatic season ender second only to season 2's The Becoming pt. 2 in terms of Buffy season finales (too bad the series finale wasn't as well written in IMHO)

I love both episode, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Intervention. It is hilarious. It definitely gets my vote.

I've said it before, but what the heck I'll say it again- Spiral borrows it's plot too much from Assault on precinct 13 to be a truly great ep. You should all check that movie out if you haven't seen it.

I also liked the way the tournament played out... I believe that alot of the shows rightfully ended up where they belonged. (I would've liked to have seen The Body closer to the top, but since it was up against The Gift at one point... I'll get over it! :D)

The Gift is a great episode. Good winner.
Since there aren't a ton of other games to knock the finished ones off the first page, like in the Movie Guessing Games thread, I'll just close the ones that are finished like this one.
