American Pie 2 and Jurasic Park 3 Question

Alright i'm going to get these two DVD'S soon but i just wanted to ask a question before i do...they're both available in Widescreen or Fullscreen version. Now will the Widescreen version be really wide because i don't like it that much when half of the screen is covered in black but i don't mind when it's just got thin bars across the top and bottom.

My best guess is itll be like the avg widescreen dvd with about 2/5 of the screen covered in black bars.

Why do you hate widescreen anyway?

Fullscreen ruins the filmmakers intentions.

I saw both "Jurassic Park III" and "American Pie 2" in the theaters. They both were filmed in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio; which means the black bars will be small on the top and bottom.

This isn't too important since your question has been answered but I wanted to add that I think the reason most people who dislike the Widescreen dislike it is becuase it annoys, or distracts them in some way. I personally don't care either way, if it's widescreen then ok, if not oh well.
