Both are 8/10's in my book, but Adaptation is the more complete film with better acting and writing.

I enjoyed both movies, but, sitting here at my computer, the one that I consider in a more positive light is, to my surprise, Punch-Drunk Love.

I loved Adaptation, but, while it oozes creative chaos, PDL emits endless amounts of cotton candy style.

I give it an 8 but while I was watching it it was a 6. The movie itself wasnt as good as I thought it would be but all the thoughts and ideas I thought about afterwards bumped it up a notch.
