I heard a story that Mike Myers was forced to do this piece of crap through to legal crap the studio pulled on him.

Either way it looks terrible, the jokes unfunny, and Mike Myers... *shudders*

Judging by the teaser trailer, "The Cat in the Hat" doesn't look very good. However, I'll definitely be checking it out. Why, you ask? Well, for one thing, I grew up with the Dr. Seuss stories - and "The Cat in the Hat" was among my favorites when I was a child. And plus, this film opens during the Holiday season - and around that time, I'm kind of in the mood to see almost anything.

I think it looks great! But not my type of movie, it's definitely for kids, which is why i'm not dissing it. I know my lil' bro would love it.

My thoughts are mixed on this one after seeing the teaser trailer. Mike Myers looks like he could play a convincing Cat in the Hat, but this movie doesn't look that funny although there are humorous bits.

I am truly scared of The Cat In The Hat. There are definite plusses, such as Mike Myers and Dakota Fanning, who are both extremely talented performers. But, sadly, the teaser trailer is nothing special at all. It has a few funny bits, but, as a whole, it looks very messy and unfunny. Will I see it? Yes, but I definitely don't expect greatness from it.

Looks horrendous. THE GRINCH was already awful, and they seem to have assraped the original story by Dr. Seuss just to fill up enough time for a feature film.

Plus, Mike Myers is a furry! I fucking hate furries!
