I say the Evil Dead movies. Hell fuggin yeah! Ash would so shove that "broomstick" up that brat's ass, and give him a taste of his "boomstick". And then he'd chainsaw that fat Hagred up simply because he's there.

HP1 and HP2 are both better than The Evil Dead, but Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness kick HP's ass.

Both are great, but in the end ill give my vote to the one i watch more often. Evil Dead.

When you boil it down, it's between 3 British kids pretending to be wizards, vs. Bruce Campbell killing various monsters with style and one liners. It shouldn't be a big mystery as to why I prefer the latter to the former

The Potter films are decent, but The Evil Dead flicks kick ass! (With the exception of the first Evil Dead).

I haven't seen the Evil Dead movies yet. They aren't available in my area. :( But they're in my Netflix queue, I can't wait to see them.

OMG! I can't believe only three people voted for Harry Potter. For me, I saw The Evil Dead a few days ago for the first time and was hugely disappointed. Not funny and NOT scary. Just too much gore and too much disgusting images with ZERO character development.

EVIL DEAD. But it's not much of an opposition: EVIL DEAD has Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell having gorey fun left and right, while the HARRY POTTER movies are a miscast opportunity made boring and lame by Chris Colombus's lack of style. As I said, not much of a contest.

Come on... is this a joke? There is no way those two movies could ever be in competition. Harry Potter is a cute children movie, while Evil Dead is full of over the top gore and fun with scary zombies. This topic looks like another way of laughing about how much the Harry Potter movies suck (even if they were all that bad).

Anyway, I'm still voting for Evil Dead.

I gave my reasons for disliking it in the "I can't fucking stand Harry Potter" club.

Oh yea, and please, because I spend 80% of the time I'm on the Interent on the boards may give the illusion that I live to bash Harry Potter, but really, you have no clue as to how much time I spend outside or anywhere else, so don't go judging me simply because some people can't seem to take a joke.

You have to admit, dude, you are a bit obsessed. I mean, I hate Shawshank Redemption with an equal passion as you hate HP, but I don't go around saying "Fuck Andy in his ass", and bringing up my loathing in other threads that are unrelated (see: your post in the Freddy v. Jason thread). Sometimes I think you're doing it just to piss dh off.:p

I wasn't commenting on how much time you spend outside or anywhere else. I was just saying that with the time you used to make this "joke" thread you could have actually done something constructive, or thought of a funny joke.
