"Resident Evil" or "28 Days Later"

Though 28 Days Later inst really a zombie flick, it contains creatures with zombie like attributes and thus it has been compared to Resident Evil. I think 28 Days Later was a superb movie with a terrible last 2 minutes. If it had a better ending it woulda blew everything out of the water. Resident Evil was still fun popcorn with a cool ending.

Not a fan of 28 Days Later and i pretty much agee with Joblo's review.The trailer for the film was fantastic and it promised so much and just didnt deliver due to the terrible direction and the acting.The opening shots of the deserted London was nothing new to me as i see that quite often drunk around 4am.Resident Evil on the other hand was an enjoyable piece of garbage.It moved fast and the scene with the lasers was fuckin hilarious.

Resident Evil is ok and definately one of the better video game based movies but I definately liked 28 Days Later more. This coming from someone who doesn't find zombies to be remotely scary.

"Resident Evil" is my choice. Overall, the film is great fun. And it's the best film adaptation of a video game, thus far. As for "28 Days Later", it's a good film - but it lacks a "scare factor" and it has one of the worst endings in the last few years.

But I voted for 28 Day's Later as I'm a massive Danny Boyle fan.

Resident Evil is cheesy, trashy, dumb fun.

28 Days Later is perhaps my third favorite "zombie" movie of all time, after Dawn of the Dead and Dead Alive. Wickedly cool film, I loved it.

This one is sort of like those Showgirls Vs. Citizen Kane threads. 28 Days Later was one of the best flicks so far this year (8/10) and Resident Evil was one of the worst of last year (a generous 3/10).

28 days later didnt always succeed but it was ballsy enough to try some new things with the genre and was a very smart horror movie(something we need more of!) while Resident Evil didnt even ATTEMPT to scare! Its cardboard characters,lame ass zombies, and some truly unremarkable one liners nearly killed it for me but it was saved by a pretty good ending.
