What is your favorite 10 mintues in a movie out of all the movies you have ever seen?
Mine would have to be the sequence in Shawshank Redemption where the warden discovers that Andy is gone, and the search afterwards. Gets me going everytime.

The final minutes to Requiem for a Dream is quite shocking, brillant and memorable. As is the "day scene" in GoodFellas... or the street shootout in Heat! Ohhhhhh, that was fun!

It's about ten from Solozzo, McLusky and Michael walking in the restaurant until Michael comes out of the can and takes care of business (and starts himself irretrievably down the road to Hell).

1) the last ten minutes or so of Evil Dead where Ash plucks up his courage to fight off the dead (Raimi went nuts at this point with the camera and I love the projector scene)
2) the last ten minutes of Dr Stangelove pending warfare (the riding of the bomb!!)
3) the ten minutes or more that Ash spends alone in the cabin from when he sees his dead girlfriend's dance to just before the others arrive in Evil Dead II (all the stuff with his hand)
4) the first ten minutes of A Clockwork Orange from the infamous opening shot onwards introducing us to the gang and theire ultra-violent escapades
5) the closing moments of Planet of the Apes, Heston taking control, shotgun in hand, humiliating Dr Zaius and the classic ending
6) the opening ten minutes of Sleepy Hollow, the kickass opening chase through the cornfield, the introduction of Ichabod and Christopher Lee's cameo, telling him his mission
