WARNING: SPOILERS FOR INDIANA JONES & BATMAN AHEAD!!

Both these characters(from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom & Batman, respectively) are often looked at with scorn, mainly because they seem to only be good at screaming their heads off.

If you ask me, though, of the 2, I'd go with Willie(Spielberg apparently agrees with me:D ) because she has more of a reason to act hysterical(she's a lounge singer who's used to being pampered), whereas Vicki, due to her past war correspondence, should at least have been somewhat gutsier.
Additionally, Vicki never does anything truly heroic during the film(the closest she comes to being heroic is when she inexplicably tells the Joker "I love purple").
Willie, though, has that great moment when she, Indy, & Short Round are beginning the thrilling mine car chase. A guard on top of Indy briefly knocks him out with a punch. Willie uses this chance to give the guard a solid punch to the face, causing him to fall off their car & derail the car pursuing them.
So, Vicki is definitely the worse of the two.

Yeah, I agree, too. Although I'd rather vote for neither of them.

Willie Scott, though it's not a big victory. Both were pretty terrible in their roles, and inhabited exceedingly annoying characters

Vicki Vale....Willie is too much of a whiny little bitch.

Willie Scott is definately the better of the two...robk, nice mention of Willie's bravery in that scene...I also want to point to an earlier scene in the film...when Willie has to brave all those bugs and insects crawling all over her to pull the lever that saves Indy and Short round who are trapped in that room with the spikes and the ceiling coming down! I love that scene...but always squirm just thinking about all those insects! She's probably punched out or slpped a few guys in her time...but a city gal dealing with thousands of creepy crawlies?! Now that's brave!

Yeah, that's a good scene as well(the look Indy gives her after the spikes retract & the stone door opens is priceless).

I dunno. I'm probably one of the rare people on Earth who never found any of the two that annoying. Then again, I think Jar Jar Binks is fun...
