ALIEN 5

There have been recent talks about Fox making a Alien 5 & 6. If anybody wants more information on this, post a request.

I really hope that this does happen, im a huge fan of the series.

It would probably more than likey happen when Aliens vs. Predator is finished and everyone loved it (I'm still a bit "iffy" on the AvP plot) but if Ridley Scott and James Cameron were to work on it together then I would be solded strait away :D

I wouldn't mind seeing Alien 5 either, Resurrection was allrite but not great (definitly not great) but I hope they do something different for Alien 5. Maybe have it set on earth like the end of Resurrection or make it the Xenomorphs' homeworld.

Alien parts 3 and Resurrection BOTH Were HORRIBLE...ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE...i fear if making 5&6 they could turn out even worse,but I Wouldn't mind taking a chance,nothing will beat out Aliens,the second sequel,better then the damn original.This will likely ONLY happen if A VS P is sucessful.

They should adapt some of the comic books/novels.. A few of them are excellent stories. I'd like to see Earth Hive, for instance. But they shouldn't do the sequels, they should just end as Earth Hive did

Most likely, there will be something hidden on The Betty (the ship at the end of Resurecction), and it will escape on Earth. Probably not the way it happened in Earth Hive, and I'm fairly ceans rtain not the same result (Aliens take over Earth), because that would spawn several more sequels, and I don't think Weaver would want to do many more. This means Ripley would have to die (again) if the Alien menace takes over Earth.

Or perhaps I'm wrong.

I'd be all for another two only IF:

1) They use all new characters and just leave Ripley alone. Her story is finished as far as I'm concerned.

2) Add something new to the aliens. I don't have any ideas at the moment, but maybe some kind of interesting mutation. Flying Xenomorphs maybe? Since the aliens are sort of like an insect colony anyway, it kinda fits...

Something like that? I have all the Kenner alien figures (minus some color swaps, and the wasp alien which is hard to find in North America), and some of them are cool, some are very lame. That's a flying queen BTW.

I don't think the aliens really need more derivatives for the movies, but that's just my opinion. They already touched on that in Alien 3, with the runner/dog alien. Perhaps some large winged life form on an alien planet?

the way i see it the only thing that should not change in the series is the alien (giger got it right the first time). i like the idea of the original alien. its bio-mechanical, the species was created at some point in time by something and it got out of control. it may live like a insect but its not. i also liked how in the first movie it was virtually unstoppable, its structural perfection is matched only by its hostility

This is weird. Cameron is still up for Alien 5, even after he said if AvP was going to be made, he wound't do Alien 5. But, AvP is going to be made, and Cameron is still talking about making Alien 5. Weird...

I dunno, messing around with the Alien that dramatically sounds like sacrilege to me. It's a perfect being already. Why do you think we love it so much? It's really a beautiful creature. Deadly, but beautiful.

The ability to fly might actually kill some of the grace and integrity of the Alien. The best thing about the other movies, YES even pt. 3, is that you never see the Alien for too long. That's what keeps the audience interested: MYSTERY. Just look at JAWS. Flying is out in the open, in plain sight, unless it's dark of course. If it's not executed right, it looks hokey and laughable. So you really don't want any director of a low caliber helming that , you need TALENT.

If you're going to change it, then I can think of no one better then Cameron to do it. Anyone who can come up with The Queen Alien and the mandibles on the Predator truly has a gifted imagination. If he does this right, then maybe he can make up for Titanic.


And btw, syxxpac is right. Ripley is done. She was done at the end of pt. 3 and that copy in Resurrection is not her either.

Nobody kill me for saying this, but i did like the Call character. I would also like Ripley 8 to return. Yes, i know her story should of been closed at the end of part 3, but it was left wide open again at the end of part 4. Ripley's last appearance on screen should be in part 5, and that's it. As for Call, I don't mind seeing her more than one more time. I think Viress should be killed off quick and early. I don't know about Jonhner, they can keep him around for a little while. But, I would love to see Bishop again. That would be great. Hey, If Arnold wants in the movie, I would welcome it too. Maybe we can get a flash back of Hicks and Newt? Hey, anythings possible.

in my opinion they should stay away from resurrection, even though i enjoyed the movie it didn't do the series any justice.
i think they should just go in a different direction. i have faith in camerons story telling ability
