Worst Poster of All-Time - Vote!

So the OUT OF TIME poster was released today and boy is it a stinker. Is it worse than THE ORDER poster? Good question. The Out of Time poster is worse, but there are a lot of posters that are worse than those two.

Yeah they're both very blah. I do think 'Out Of Time' is worse because considering its a Denzel vehicle, you;d think it would be treated better than the kind of straight to video fluff it looks like, tough the film itself looks okay. The official site has okay art to make you think they could create a good poster, but alas no. And Eva Mendes looks shocking, and Dean Cain seems to be absent everywhere from this movie, not on the poster or trailer, and he apparently has a big part. The Order looks better now, but had it kept its crappy Sin Eater title, it may have been a tie.

I am going w/ Out Of Time. I saw the trailer for it. Well the usual story scenario blah blah blah but the advertisement for the poster is NOT gonna help the movie to bring people into the theatre. It looks rushed and NO originality.:rolleyes:

The poster for The Order well is capitalizing on the HOTNESS of Heath Ledger. I do admit that SOME refernces to the movie should have reflected somewhere on the poster.

Out of Time poster looks bad. The Order at least knows what it wants to show: Heath Ledger. Out of Time doesn't have a clue.

They're both pretty terrible, but I've seen a lot worse. From the 2 listed, I'd say Out of Time. A shame that movies starting with the letter "O" always have it the worst. But like I've said, I've said ones more horrid

The poster for The Order is absoulutely amazing. I love it. It uses the color gray perfectly and nicely conveys a sense of dread. The Out Of Time poster, however, is cheesy as hell. I've heard much ballyhoo about this film being a classic film noir and Washington giving the best performance of his career, but this poster reminds me of art for a cheap police film, a la Chill Factor or Blue Streak. It easily is one of the worst posters ever.

What's so amazing about a poster with Heath Ledger looking like he just woke up? Like many here, I think it's a terrible poster, and from viewing the trailer, the movie itself also looks terrible

I hope your joking. I will agree that THE ORDER isn't as bad as OUT OF TIME but still...it's just so...LAZY on the designer's part. No effort went in to this design at all. I'm sure there were other versions that were a little more "conceptual" but somehow the big shot of Heath Ledger won out. I made the point to someone that if you took "THE ORDER" from the bottom and replaced it with "Calvin Klein" this could be a perfume ad or something.

I really dont have a problem with the Order poster...but the Out of Time is absolute crap. Those responsible for that poster should go back to their intro to graphics classes.

Well, the "OUT OF TIME" one is worse. But still not as bad as...

the "Serving Sara" poster, which is, frankly, as bad as the movie.

The infamous poster which looks like a publivity still, with a bad career description... And the two leads have clearly gone through some 80's wormhole...---i think empire magazine also said that, but i don't really remember anyhow here is the poster:

I happen to like both posters. But I like the Out of Time poster a little more. But The Order has a pretty good poster as well. And I think the movie looks pretty good. It looks like a taut and gripping thriller.

Ditto. I actually kinda like The Order poster. Even though it's fairly simple, it has a unique look to it all the same. I like the font too. The Out of Time poster does look like STV kinda stuff and you would think they would do better w/ a Denzel film.

:confused: Huh? I mean, I know we all have our opinions but there's absolutely nothing that looks either original or intelligent in the poster for The Order. It's basically just a drab photo of a tired-looking, glazed-over Heath Ledger straddling something against an awful-looking, obviously fake backdrop. I see no "dread" here, just a terrible-looking poster...

"Out of Time" is one of the most fuckin' dreadful posters my two eyes have ever laid sight upon!!! You would think, since the film is a Denzel Washington vechile, that the poster would be a tad bit more "attractive". Sheesh! :mad:

The poster for "The Order" is bad too. I don't know what possessed them to put a huge, sleepy-eyed, and unshaven Heath Ledger on the poster...
