The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen looks like a really good movie. Im surprised it hasnt been talked about so much around these here threads..It looks like one of those movies where a lot of things happen and we change from one locale to another...
certainly reminds me a lot of Indiana Jones.

And on the plus side its directed by Stephen Norrington, also known for directing the excellent Blade. I hope this film looks as cool as the previews...cause they are awesome.

So far what I like the most is the Dr. Jekill and Mr. Hyde character wich looks awesome when he transforms! And also those scenes involving that cool car!

Heres hoping this wont flop at the box office. Hope not.

What do you guys expect?

With these reviews (http://aint-it-cool.com/display.cgi?id=15569) I feel pretty encouraged. I know many think it looks awful, but I'll see it, since it looks like a fun time. But I've already called the LXG thread in the current movie thread, so don't even try to post it :)

Looks like fun! I cant imagine how they get all these classic characters together though... Plus the fued between Connery and Norrington can only hurt the finish product...

Though it still looks like a great ride.

Well, the alledged feud between Halle Berry and Bryan Singer didn't seem to affect X2, so it's not a sign of doom just yet

Trebek: What sound does a dog make?
Connery: Ruff, just how your mother likes it Trebek.

It looks OK, i thought it looked horrible but now it looks somewhat decent but Sean Connery....action star...at age 80? I don't know.

The description of the plot, cast, and pictures made this a must-see for me earlier this summer, but since I saw the horrid trailer I'll skip it.

Holy Shit, that's funny, I love those SNL skits. They are the funniest thing on SNL in the last 10 years, perhaps with the exception of some Weekend Update stuff.

"The day is mine, Trebek!"

It looks pretty cool and I might give this one a chance at the cinemas, the only thing thats pulling me in is the Sean Connery casting choice. Gotta love that hard-as-nails-scottish-accent :D

Then I remember theres that "Mr. Hyde-Hulk-Wannabe" which kinda turns me off of the movie but still I just might go in and watch it which I'll probably do. Either that or my mates will force me into watching this :p

Yeah exactly it looks like a great ride. And the reviews that are hovering around this one are really good. The way these characters are gathered around is Allan Quartermain (the Indiana Jones character that Sean Connery plays) gathers all the characters up to fight agains the villain. Thats all I know so far. And somehow Nemo and his famous submarine also figure into the film. It just sounds so freaking cool to me.

Hey and more good news on our pal Norrington. Hes set to direct the upcoming live action AKIRA film wich Ive been waiting like my whole life to see.

Yea i'll watch it. It looks pretty harmless. Like others have said, it could be really good or it could suck donkey balls. We'll see.

I think that this looks really good. Plus, Stuart Townsend is so cool. Hey, Vastlynne, who's that in your avatar?

The trailer for the movie looks pretty good. So i hope the movie is good or atleast i like it. Becasue after this Norrington is taking up his hugest project to date, and if he screws this one movie up it will screw his entire career. What movie will it be ofcourse?
AKIRA. Yes the legendary Manga and Anime into live action.
So i hope LXG is great so that way there is a high chance of Akira being great and that will make my favourite Anime movie better!
