Now I am glad that 28 DAYS LATER was by 'n' large well recieved on the other side of the atlantic.
It's where the real money is made and where the funding will come for me to have acrack at horror film making.

It seems as if someone else had a sniff at the succsess of 28 DAYS LATER and diecided to make this.....

LD50

Re-formed by a coded message to their web site, a group of animal rights activists set off to free an imprisoned colleague from a terrifying ordeal. Their rescue mission leads them to a disused lab, but what should have been a simple raid turns into a series of twisted and mind bending incidents where the free and the caged switch places, in this tormented psychological horror.

And some pictures....

Here's the info you need:

Production Companies:

Four Hoursman films (U.K)

Random Harvest Films(U.K)

Distribution Companies:

Beuna Vista international (U.S) (Europe/Middle East/Asia)

Overseas Filmgroup (non-Europe/Middle East/Asia)

Unfortunatly no word on an offical release date yet but it is touted for August at least in the U.K and shouldn't be long afterwards in the U.S .

Hope that helped

If Beuna Vista is one of the main distributers, then chances are it`ll go to theaters.

Premise sounds promising, the pics look cool. I didn`t recognize Scary Spice, with her (fake) dredlocks.

Is it just me, or does one of the guys in the first pic look a little bit like Gary Busey? Golly, between that damned show of his and Frost: Portrait of a Vampire, I have seen him a lot lately.

The first pic reminds me of The Attic Expeditions

I hate the Spice Girls.

This movie sounds contrived and rather gimmicky (mindfucks and pychological being all the rage), but it may be original and entertaining.
