I saw the preview for The Whole Ten Yards for the first time today, and I'm a big fan of the first one, but I know I'll be disappointed by this one. The plot looks contrived, it won't have chemistry, and worst of all, Amanda Peet's in a hideous black wig! Your thoughts?

I also saw this. I am disappointed it looks like crap. I mean Matthew Perry was a given, but BRUCE ?!?! Oh well.

I don't know. It could probably go either way. One side of me says "unnecessary sequel", while another side says that it can't be that bad if almost the entire cast of the first one is involved again.
And the trailer wasn't too bad I thought. It was funny when Bruce was drunk and he didn't take too kindly to the tower of shotglasses :D. It didn't make much sense but hey: it still got a chuckle out of me. That's worth something, right?

Same here. The trailer stunk the big one. I did not laugh at one joke they threw at me. I mean Matthew Perry? Amanda Peet? No thanks.

I've never seen the first (I've wanted to) but i think this movie looks pretty good. It got a few laughs from the audience i was at T3 with, it could go either way.

I like that Kevin Pollack is back. He's in a lot of prosthetics, but he's playing a relative the the guy in the firt one. He looks pretty funny in this, totally tongue in cheek.

It seems exactly the same as the first one. Sort of like, if you liked the first one you'll like this one, if you hated the first one you'll hate this one, if you didn't see the first one you'll probably have no interest in this one. Sort of like Charlie's Angels, Legally Blonde, American Pie, etc. Not a movie on its own, but just something to please the people who saw the first and want more of the same.
