I'd love to see this...if it were done right, of course-as an explanation for Freddy's series.

But...*possible SPOILERS for Freddy vs Jason*

If Freddy is Jason's father, how the hell would they work that into a prequel? Or would they just ignore it? Yeah, probably.

I also heard Wes Craven say at his official site that maybe 10 years down the road he would consider doing another Scream, or a Scream prequel type thing.

I don't think that a prequel is necessary, I mean, we all know what happened and saw some of it in Freddy's Dead:(

Um.....what else is there left to know??? We saw some of Freddy's childhood, his freaking birth, his mother, his fathers, who raised him, his real family and how he was, and why he got that way.
